I have an OBS too. I lost powersteering in the middle of turn before also. The tensioner pulley that keeps the belt on had seized and broke, so I got to replace it in a pot shop parking lot (it was the closest business I could park in). That same summer one of my tie rods broke in a parking lot and that’s where I got to replace it. Im glad I keep all of my tools in my truck.
I’ve got an 03 f250 4x4. It rides very rough and I have to keep both hands on the wheel or it will throw u in the next lane. I’ve got 6” lift n 33” mud tires. How is the ride on ur 96 unloaded?
Fixing your truck in the cold young man you are incredible ,knowledgeable and so experienced do you keep extra parts with you in the truck too happiness in your adventures Many blessings to you
haha yup not ideal working on your ride in the cold, but it's way cheaper than hiring a mechanic and then I know the job is actually done right/done at all.
I got a special order cargo trailer and did the inside with wood and made it look like a log cabin with all of the things you would find in a log cabin. You can check out my conversion by tapping the blue circle with the B in it. I love this truck camper.
So I saw your cabin in the Carr’s parking lot and was ever so excited! I’m a brand new van dweller myself, saving for land.... wish you beautiful trails and bright blessings!
Hopefully your vacuum pump never goes out. You kind of loose your brakes. I have a 97 f250. Easy to work on and find parts. Awesome trucks and easy to find parts. Cheers from Texas
I just stumbled onto your channel and I have binged watched all the episodes about this truck and camper I love it! I wanna do a similar build for my truck and I was wondering if you plan on ever making plans for the design with the measurements and everything? Either way I'm subbed and can't wait to see what's next!
haha thanks man! I don't have any blue prints at the moment, but the camper is for sale (not the truck)... if it sells/gets a deposit put down on it I'm going to build myself another one. cheers!
@@TruckHouseLife I would definitely love to see videos of a new build... My main questions are what is the wall height of the side walls that the couches are on (it appears to be roughly 3 ft from the videos? And I'm guessing it's 7 foot in the middle of the camper(from bottom to highest point in the middle?)
yep, you're about right, I believe the wall height is just shy of 3 ft, just enough room to sit up tall on the couches and not hit your head on the ceiling. The roof height is around 6'4 in the back and somewhere around 5' up front.
I saw your rig there too. I live just down the road from there and was headed to work. I just found your channel today and have been checking out a couple videos. Trying to find some new places to explore off the beaten path. I just moved back to Alaska last year after being gone in the lower 48 for the last 25+ years. Thanks for sharing!
