It is much more work to tour a museum and do a video. Thank you for your extra effort and making this really awesome truck history available to those of us that are on the other side of the globe. Thanks again.
Many of these trucks are actually Australian built and or have been extensively modified here for local conditions and unique national industry requirements, Kenworth has been manufacturing trucks here full scale since 1975 and still is (amazingly), they also used to fully manufacture Macks, Western Stars and assemble Volvos here up until about 10-15 years ago.
@@WinahhTaylahh👍 Знаю что Renault Magnum производился( или поставлялся) как Mack Magnum для рынка Австралии. Ну и да конечно специфика работы в условиях Австралии вносит свои коррективы в технические характеристики автопоездов🙂
Someone should add up all the mileage combined on these babies and see how many times around the globe they all have traveled ❤.cheers for the video mate 👍
Thanks for a great video, I always wanted to go there as many of my old customers have trucks in that facility. Probably won’t ever get there now, so appreciate the good look around. Also thanks for not playing music over your video. Well done
Hi. That is so nice of you. Thank you so much, i really do appreciate it. I hope you gonna get there one day 😊 It is a great place. Have a nice day my friend 💙
Den gelben Kenworth C510 zu einem Wohnmobil umbauen...Eine verrückte Idee, ich weiss.Gratuliere zu dem wunderschönen Video.Solche Trucks sucht man in Germany vergebens...Macht weiter so...
Great camera work Tomas. What a beautiful collection of historical vehicles. Ipec Australia had a twinsteer UD that often passed me while heading home from West of Rockhampton. 1100klm in 15 hours allegedly😂😂
Surprised to see so many old English trucks - most of those makes don't exist anymore. I remember them as my Dad worked in Commercial vehicles in the 60's through to the 90's. Interesting video!
If Ireland and Oz were asked to show their wierd and unique we'd put the world to shame. Bloody impressive collection. Please tend to the battered and bruised as there's too much to waste in that collection.Oz has too many secrets (being the butt of too much hubris) to forsake such treasures. Keep good the sins of fools and the treasures of others. Hello from Ireland :)
This collection are increadable! Can't even imagine how much does it cost to make museum like this possible. Are all trucks stand there always or some of these are temporary? I see there is relativly new trucks. Also, if I'm not wrong, that ten wheeler KW C510 was build not so long ago, teoreticaly it should be still working truck.
Dedication here to bring them to display standard 👍 and meanwhile the ones outside like an old dinosaur graveyard awaiting resurrection. Fantastic museum, I just wonder how many miles and the stories these trucks have experienced.
Hey mate how are you and I noticed that in the national truck museum at the back of some trucks I saw some buses and I noticed one of them it's a Volvo b59 bus
Wow! Australia obviously has the most various truck brands and types. (New Zealand isn't bad either). This is an eldorado for a truck enthusiast.👍 And as a "Scania guy" that 111 at 2:29 is something really interesting. I just wonder what engine it has. The original DS11 engine would have around 310hp. The 380hp is close to what the DS14 would have. I wish I could get a little more info about this truck. The blue Scania at 5:05 is definitely a 111. To me the cabs of the models 75, 76, 110 and 111 look pretty much the same on the outside but the steering wheel and dashboard reveal it's a 111. Regards from Finland!
I guess every truck brand in the world tried to conquer Australia... What kind of truck is that @ 1:22 ? Never seen such a thing...looks like it has a cab of a dump truck?!
Well g thanks for showing us around all of them bad ass trucks maybe next time you could really put your self out there and try and give some information about I don't know maybe some information about some of these trucks you had an great opportunity to mack an awesome video and instead you just shit the bed thanks guy
@@TomasVarg I remember being at Browns in Brisbane during the GFC & they had a number of C510s in the workshop. I asked them what they were in for & the answer was that the Cummins Signatures in them had originally been boosted to 1000hp but the Allison auto boxes couldn't cope with the strain & were all blowing up despite being progressively de-rated to the then 800hp. So they were all in for replacement boxes & a further incremental boost reduction. I also recall early problems with the Allisons selecting multiple gears simultaneously. I never liked them, so never had them. My preference was, & will ever be the Eaton Fuller Roadranger, 22 & 20 Series, although I must say that the sweetest box I ever had was the 18 Series but it could only be rated at up to 90 tons, so it was only ever the light spec option for A/B double & B/B doubles, with most such being spec'd with the 20 Series. The reason that the Allison Autos were fitted originally was because the mining boom in general took all of the very experienced drivers who could shift Roadrangers. That meant that the newer drivers replacing the loss, mostly on local & regional needed a gearing solution they could cope with. W.A.
@kenc4240 Lol, wtf is with all the anger and exclamations? Are you autistic or something? Settle down mate, there's plenty of other videos about this place on YT that you can watch if you're after commentary and info, just saying😂
