Just bought a 2019 579, gotta move out in 10 days, and it'll be an all day project. All my junk and then all my chains, straps, edge protects, binders, etc... Appreciate the tour, nice to see a company that got a fridge and apu for their driver.
We are making the change to automatics. I talked more crap than anyone about automatics. I've had an auto in my last three trucks. If I bought a new one today it would be an auto.
Recap Hey Recap! I applied at Magnum. Did they get there school up and running yet? I'm out of Norman, OK with my CDL Permit. Looking to go to Tulsa and rent that truck to get my license. Thanks for all your advice brother! Got a new baby boy and looking to provide for my family. ive got no degree and have never been the school type of person but I have 17 years of steady work history and no criminal record or driving record violations. Tired of busting my ass for 10 dollars an hour. Maybe I'll see you out there.
Sweet. Now we have to discus a whole lot of factors to determine which is got a better deal. Way to long of a discussion for the comment section of a RU-vid video. I do love these trucks. I've actually got another new 2019 since I shot this. Now I'm in an ultra loft. Good and bad in that also.
Rajko Stupar Much smoother than my 2017. Love it. Backs like a dream. No more feathering the accelerator. Release the break and she creeps. It's called erge to move. Does it forward or backward. Touches a dock soft as a babies butt.
The top one run separate from the bunk heater the top one is what controls the APU the middle thermostat is what runs the bunk heater the bunk heater runs when the truck is running the APU heat and air runs when the truck is not running that's how they work
@@artist4truth See if I have this. If the truck is running, the bottom is the bunk heater control; when you are parked for the night and the engine is off, you use the top control (the APU). Thanks
Are they still having problems with the wiring harnesses? My old boss bought a brand new 2016 and was in the shop like 3 times in 6 months due to bullshit hhappening
@@bambinorus my 2017 never went into the shop. My 2019 had the front radar sensor replaced under warranty. We trade these trucks in at 4yrs old with 400-500k. Our 2015 are currently for sale at Fargo ND Peterbilt for 54,900.
Actually the radar is for the adaptive cruise control, and that does apply brakes to avoid collisions. The wingman displays following distance, it also signals lane departures, and reads and displays posted speed limits. A nice feature in the winter when the road is covered and totally blown over with snow, it can read the lane markers right through the snow. I run a lot in the great white north. I love this feature.
Jacob TheBreeze well thanks for the comment Jacob. Sorry about the Facebook request. If I got a request from somebody I didn't know I wouldn't have accepted it. The best place to talk to me directly cuz I'm solo I'm almost always in truckers helping Truckers.
