Nice to see a picture of Monkhouse in there, we did quite a bit of work with them back in the 70's and 80's Reg and Ian were great men to deal with. Happy days

Like the majority of people who watch your videos it reminds me of bygone times when the world was very different. Have you got anything about UFO International Transport from Morley near Leeds I worked for them as a young man and they had a tidy fleet of mainly Scania’s carrying dried freight and refrigerated goods also

How many companies in the UK 🇬🇧 and Europe 🇪🇺 build trucks?

Not many, less than 10 major companies most of whom are part of bigger parent groups.

Volvo , Mercedes-Benz , Renault , IVECO and DAF have factories across Europe . Volvo and Renault share cabs , just with different grille fronts . As for the UK the only major builder I can think of is DAF in Preston , the old Leyland factory I believe, Volvos were built in Scotland, i don't know if they still are ,I do stand to be corrected though .
