HERES the video that few of you have been asking for more middle east magic.looking back at the haydays of middle east trucking.in this video we take a look at a few other companys and trucks please like and comment
The best time for my own company was driving to the Middle East for 16 years with 4 cars, years 70-80 .. greetings from Holland to the former colleagues who were also there at the time, including the Londra Camping.
At 14:11 I see with great joy the photo of Chris Hooper's Ford Transcontinental Astran. I had the pleasure of meeting him in Italy and meeting him in Turkey near Aksaray, while he was returning from Syria. He was very personable, and a great traveler. He made many trips to the Middle East, a great man for me. Nice memories. Congratulations, nice video.

I knew a lot of those trucks from back in the day, great memories, hard time, but good times as well. People stopped to helped each other, no trackers or cameras in the cab spying on you. Is there a reason you are using Dave Miller / Roy Peckhams 142 as your thumb nail ?
The middle east is never forgotten, done 15 months in the 70s, always look back and remember the days in the desert across H4 the pipe line to Daman and Doha. I have plenty of pictures is anyone wants to use them
Mack F700's in the seventies with quadruplex or duplex compound gearboxes "twin stickers" fitted with either a Mack thermodyne or maxidyne motor ,twin diffs of course ,were very popular in Iran in the seventies on the Europe transit routes
