Trucks, classic cars and more at the 2023 Llandudno Transport Festival!

Today I'm walking around the great classic cars and old trucks on show at the 2023 Llandudno Transport Festival.
Once a year the lovely sea-side town hosts a plethora of historic vehicles amassing at the main fields, also with vintage buses taking tourists to and from the Llandudno town centre where the Victorian Extravaganze was also taking place.
Alas there was so much in the main classic car show fields and truck field that we were unable to explore to town centre - but don't worry! If motoring history is your thing then there's plenty on offer in this video from an Austin 7 to a Bedford K-Type pickup!

Hi Harley A great array of cars , different makes and models. What i find interesting is all the different vechiles from different countries. The British car market is varied and cars from around the world are sold. I had,a British friend,at high school, his family emigrated to New Zealand in 1974. I was asked to look out for him when he started at the school we attended. He was car crazy, and he introduced me to all these different cars that we didn't have on our car market. He had world car magazines he had brought with him from Britain. I was educated. My father owned a Red Rover 2000 saloon in the 1970s. He didn't have it for long, it guzzled the petrol.

Harley, the quality of your videos and knowledge goes from strength to strength. Your pater needs to 'look to his laurels'; I'm amazed by how much you know about cars that were on the road when you weren't even a glint in his eye! Particularly liked the post-war Vauxhall Velox's, which bring back fond memories of my grandfather who had a company Wyvern or Velox. The green and cream Velox was a real 'booby dazzler' and the outrageous pink PA was quite a common sight on the roads when I was a nipper. The two-tone green Rapier at the end of the video was very stylish. Well done!

Great Video HJ. Di Familia J monopolised my Sunday morning again but well worth it. I love a Bond Bug. I had a Consul Classic and it rotted around the sidelights.

Cracking show! You still exude your enthusiasm for all things motoring classics when vehicles had characters, and with the pre-1960/70 one always flashed lights at similar cars as one's one. So thanks again Harley and keep 'em coming! Rob

Another great collection of classic vehicles. You're right in how language changes - when I was a kid, we had a brand of ice-cream called "Gaytime".

6:16 color , possibly Butterscotch ? 26:50 Dodge van, known as the “A-100” This , I believe is a “Sportsman “. [ the “Econoline” was Ford]. Great show. Lots of interesting cars, trucks. 🚗📻🙂
