Thanks for video remember coming over tar hill in the mid 1970's with old man driving a 190 Detroit logging truck single lane and in the summer the tar did melt lived up to its name, more corners and bumpy road in the winter lots of ice in the mornings had to drive with one wheel off the road in the metal to be able to steer around the corners - trucks and the road have come a long way since then
Alright Bill you have got me confused with this rode in the video; some places I see two lands going in one direction and some places I see one lane going the other direction. another question is: how long have they been driving rigs with twin steering. I don't think I have and of these type rigs in Australia and the USA. thanks for a very outstanding video.
Hi check out my website trucking-nz.com Its about truck driving in New Zealand if you have anymore questions please ask. As for twin steers They have been here for over 30 years. and the reason for all the axles is to spread the load weight to reduce the wear and tear of the road.
+Will Bishop Thanks for answering, which is not common today. But I always thought of N.Z. as a civilised country. Sometimes,I think to get my things together in order to move towards N.Z. I hope there is need for a toolmaker.
