Calling someone a liar when you have proof they are lying in the house shouldn't be reprimanded. If anything, the liars should be tossed for acting dishonestly in the house.
Three cheers for Damien Kurek! He had the balls to call arrogant, scandalous and very entitled spoiled brat Justin Trudeau "a liar" which I feel sure is what an overwhelming majority of Canadians are already thinking. Thank you Damien, for having the guts to tell the truth and to tell it like it is!
Mr. Kurek called it like it is, and the CONSERVATIVE speaker did his honourable job as required, without needing to be told or asked. THAT IS HOW AN IMPARTIAL, NEUTRAL SPEAKER ACTS.
Spare me, ever politician out there are liars. only interested in puffing up their worthless egos and lining their pockets. Poilievre will prove to be no different.
@CorryGal Good question! Hmm, it might be hard if they had a lineup of Castro lookalikes, but when they start talking the one who goes on a tangent and starts gaslighting to try to shift the focus would make it fairly easy I believe. Well that and the fact that so many get physically nauseous whenever he talks nowadays, so that would be a dead giveaway as well XD
Global was truly just trying to discredit the MP not trying to bring transparency to the Liberals lies. I think I sensed your sarcasm but thought I would comment just incase.
This whole interaction painted the conservatives as a whole (speaker and the MP) in a great light. I hope Canadians take note and see this is what accountability looks like, Something Canada badly needs.
@MikeJones50911 "the budget will balance itself" the Canadian convoy are full of nazis" didn't the liberals say this while allowing a full nazi into parliament without doing the proper background check?
@@puttinfoilinyourhat.6174I’m from England watching this is similar to rishi sunak, rishi is so bad, just as bad as Trudeau, I’d rather call him sushi so bad.
Speaking on behalf of Canadians is the job of politicians, and this guy truly knows the assignment! I love my country 🇨🇦 I hate whats becoming of it because of the Liberal government, and their insane policies.
Finally, a politician standing up for Canadians! Thank you Damien Kurek for expressing just some of the anger brewing with Canadians under the idiotic liberal policies.
Who's the version of truth . The one calling a liar ? The one accused of being a liar ? Or the one who stands to gain more in the end Many versions of truth then their are facts that can be disputed distorted for again someone who will benefit most !
You can lie but don’t you dare call the liar a liar Omg this is so ridiculous!!!! What is this kindergarten? What’s the job of the speaker ? To protect the PMs feelings??? This is just insane. No wonder Canada has become the laughing stock of the world . Good on that PM for not being brow beat into submission and not apologizing ❤
What historic issue have the conservatives ever been right on: workers rights, racial equality, native rights, religious liberty, freedom of speech, women’s rights, abolitionism. The further you go back the more you realize how detrimental conservatism is for society.
@@H3H3.podcast I don't care about previous conservative governments. This liberal government isn't the same as previous governments either. The liberal government is absolutely destroying this country worse then any other government in canadian history and they're doing it in record time. Pierre will win the majority in the next election and soon you'll see how it feels to be called a small fringe minority.
@H3H3.podcast At this point the conservatives are the most free speech party in the country. All the others want to limit it in some way. Also you speak of conservatism as if it is a set in stone idea. It isn’t. Conservatism, and progressivism change with the times. A century ago the liberals were actually liberal, and the conservatives weren’t. Today, the conservatives are more liberal than the liberals. And I don’t mean liberal as in “progressive” I mean liberal as in actual liberalism, where the government isn’t always in your business. Progressivism is the gas pedal that drives society forward, conservatism is the breaks that keep society from going off the cliff.
The fact that he is willing to stand behind his beliefs makes him a much better man and parliamentarian than the current prime minister regardless if we agree or disagree with him
It's a long standing rule that you can't call another member a liar. They all know that rule. Conservatives love to get themselves kicked out so they can fundraise off the drama. It's not the first time and won't be the last.
@@yoyoyo416 It's sick and getting sicker. Calling someone out on a lie is the only way to correct a wrong. Stopping the truth from being told in the clearest way possible, is a sign that truth is shunned.Canadians are a sick society. It is more disrespectful to everyone in the room to force them to just accept liars and their lies.
@squatch545 I’ve seen you shilling for Trudeau for awhile now and I gotta ask… do you sincerely believe a word you just said? As in any word praising Trudeau? Do you honestly believe he’s been good for this country as prime minister? If not, how much did they pay you? Times are tough, I get that, but be honest.
@@konstantinosnikolakakis8125 To be fair 99% of politicians speak and do only what they deem is good for themselves and will make them look good to others even if it's doing the wrong thing or to the determent of the world
There's nothing to apologize for when you're speaking the truth in the face of a blatant lie and addressing such blatant lies being brought forward in the house.
And his stupid and excessive carbon tax has put more citizens into poverty then any prime minister in the past 50 years. All the carbon tax is, is a gouge license to cover Trudeau handing our money out to everyone but canadians.
Lying and avoiding the question should be a chargeable offence in parliament consisting of some percentage of their net worth and jail time with enough repeated offences.
When has any politician answered a question straight up? If and when things change wonder if you all will be making the same comments and calling for the head of political leader who knows full well they can never fulfill every political promise made to the masses they said that were the one to make life better. Wonder of Polliever would cancel all MPs Senate staff salary increase or refuse them because they are compensated well enough . cancel all severance to MPs Senators Govenor General . And reduce Gaurnteed pensions to all former PMs MPs staff to what the average Canadian receives. Wouldn't that help the cost of governing
I agree, we need major changes to our system from how inquiries are run to if a MP (or PM) breaks ethics laws they are removed and an automatic RCMP investigation is launched with real consequences (for all parties).
Kurek is my MP, very happy to see him upholding the interests of his riding. So many politicians couldn't be bothered to stay true to representing their own riding and im proud to see him take a poke at the pigs across the house from him.
Trudeau wants everyone to beg at his feet for help to get by. That's what he's about, end of story. If I had a chance to vote for seperation as Quebec did, it's a yes from me. This lunatic couldn't ever run a lemonade stand without turning it into a disaster.
@@rhetorical1488 You ducked the question. "Canadians are going hungry" - and what have the Conservatives ever done for the hungry? Cut social security programs?
@@petercullen1624 Conservatives have not been in power in the last 8 years, so no they have not cut any federal social security programs, and honestly 8 years ago, things were much much different and better than they are today in this country, if you cant see that you are blind or ignorant. The cost of living, the amount of homeless back then pales in comparison to today. When the next election happens and if the Conservatives are voted in and if they cut a bunch of social security programs, then by all means make your statement. The years of the harper govt are long over, this is a new Conservative party, and should be given the chance to try and fix what the libs have done to this country, which is teetering on the brink of being totally broken in every way. Your comment which you have made several times now is totally useless.
@@konstantinosnikolakakis8125 I was talking about the Conservative Party of Canada and their policies. "Canadians are going hungry" - and what have the Conservatives ever done for the hungry? Cut social security programs?
@@TheeSlickShady_Dave_K Thank you. I am sorry. I lashed out that was uncalled for. I am the black sheep out here in the middle of nowhere Alberta. The decorum of our institution is important to maintain a proper environment for debate and discussion. Using words like minions and liar is subjective and quite frankly a childish bully tactic. Use facts and truth to make your point, not lower the standard of our government to a childish standard. Conservatives were doing better but I feel them slipping back into a more extreme style of politics that I just can't stomach.
No Peter, I haven’t been in a coma. I never was interested in politics though…. But seeing I’ve had my medical choices tampered with, my mortgage and cost of living increased dramatically, I’ve been told when I can come and go and when/if I can see my friends… now these creeps have my attention.
Good job for calling out Turdo! And how dare Justin accuse Pierre of "holding the holidays hostage"! The only holidays he is sabotaging are Trudeau's and his own! But if course to Justin, his holidays are all that matters.
He's got my vote, and any man that follows his suit 👏👏👏👏👏 that's what we As clCanadians are Supposed to be!! Thank you Sir the house needed that! And the fact you have been gas lighted from the house due to it is appalling.
What a charade. The only thing they are worried about is conduct and language use. Not the lies the PM keeps spewing to Canadians. The joke needs to end
Sad that American style partisan politics have shown up in Canada. The issue is not what he said, but how he said it. There is a certain level of decorum expected in parliament. Perhaps a hold over from British times, but none the less, every member knows what is expected. The member kicked out knew that, and refused to adhere to the rules HE agreed to. That’s literally all.
