In a strange twist of fate, Peter created Scott's Alpha status, and not just by being the one that bit him. Peter tried to force Scott to abandon his previous life and friends to become his whelp (Derek did a less evil version of that in Season 2). This drove Scott to cling to his human side and human friends in a way that most werewolves on Teen Wolf don't. As the only werewolf in that group, they'd be very dependent on him for protection, and with supernatural powers in Teen Wolf being psychosomatic, Scott noticing that people were relying on him might have caused his Beta spark to respond by growing.
You know i thought about a final season for teen wolf During his fight with the anu-kite or whatever its called has pushed scott to his breaking point when all of his friends had turned into stone except him which caused him to become beast wolf and kills the anu-kite and gerard however it caused him to be out of control. Then stiles,lydia and the rest would jave to bring scott back to his senses but it would be extremely difficult as scott is to powerful in his beast form which led jackson to use his kanima form to keep up with scott however was eventually overpowered as he couldn't stayed in that form for long. However after a long fight scott's human side emerge to fight his beast side however both had decided to collide to balance both sides. Which cause scott turning into a white wolf as he finally evovled and goes back to normal and becomes the strongest alpha in history. This could've been the final ending for teen wolf
I liked to see that too when he reach his breaking point to where he stops holding back and embrace his beast side temporarily. And his friends had to bring his human side back making him probably the strongest werewolf while out of control. When his friends had finally put a sense into him his human side reemerge not to fight his beast side but to collide to balance both side which caused Scott to become a beast wolf into a white wolf as he evolves and be the strongest werewolf in the entire series. That would be a perfect end for teen wolf's final episode
