This was hilarious, hot, and surreal at the same time. Loved it. Only Eric Northman can pull this off. And I love how he was all intimidating and then by the end he was admitting he cared about Sookie. The final touch was when he said he'd get her screen door fixed. But the way he restored Sookie's house was beautiful. He may act like an ass sometimes but he has a pure heart, as we saw when he had amnesia.

I LOVE the attention to detail in this show, like how Eric climbs over the railing and jumps down to get in front of Sookie. It happens so fast you almost don't see that that is what he does.

@KaaVa1 Do you realize that Bill's sourthern gentleman persona was mostly a mask he wore to please Sookie? Who's the real Bill? The one who lived with Lorena, the punk with a brit accent, the southern soldier, King Bill? Who knows? Certainly not Sookie. The biggest difference between Eric and Bill is that Eric hides his better self, Bill hides his worst. You just have to look behind the appearences.

Maybe she just doesn’t want to be someone’s plaything Even though her relationship started out as a lie there was genuine affection and love. At this point, Eric is offering to protect her and does care about her in his own way but he does not know how to love her. It isn’t until he looses his memory and the shields come down that true love forms

@trixiedoor Yeah, you're absolutely right, especially when you say that Eric hides his best side and Bill his worst. Indeed we can see it also in their different way to be makers: Pam and Eric have a true and deep relationship (the end of season 3 just as one exemple), they're really close, while Jessica and Bill seem just vampire friends (in episode 3 or 4 of season 4 Jessica goes to Bill after a long time they didn't see)

@Porcelanesa I honestly don't know... Maybe becouse I am so in love in Sookie/Bill romance, with him being so oldfashioned, courteous perfect southern gentelmen? And Eric is mosty a prick, who doesn't act like he was 2000 years old, but a vampire rookie, who is so pleased with himself that it's sick. God, especially in this scene - "U R MINE, 'nuff said"

well in the books she gave in to Eric because when he lost his memories he seemed like a nice guy, remember? most of the time Eric is an egoist, even though he seems to care he would never forget his own interests

@Aveo00 : I agree its not just her body he's after, fact remains Eric is a domineering, and manipulative. He didn't do her as dirty as Bill, but let's face it as of these first two episodes of this season, Eric's actions have reached an all time low in attempts to get Sookie as a lover. He can literally hold her childhood home over her head. He's not in it to have easy pickings, he's in it for the chase that he knows she can give.

@KaaVa1 LOL, at first Eric is 1000 years old; and Bill is a southern gentleman, serioisly have you only watched season 1? Last season it was revealed that he is a big fat lier and he was lying the whole time, he is no southern gentleman at all; have you seen episode 2 already, where he really enjoyed boinking that woman, even though he said he loves Sookie more than anything, which was already a stupid assertion, considering that he know her for like 2 month;

@Hermyoni33 : She's something new and exciting. Forever is a long time to live with yourself, hell one lifetime is a long time to live with yourself. It looks to me like Eric is looking for a companion, the problem comes in with his whole, "You will do as I please eventually" attitude. He's the type to steal, kill, and seduce any and every way he can to get what he wants. Money is no object in his case and neither is time as Eric has plenty of both.

@trixiedoor I got a point,I think Bill's becoming more worst than King Russell. he reminds me of combination of Lex Luther/Cartman from South Park. he's like big baby becuz if he didn't get what he want,he'll get even w/ "Scott Tenorman Must Die" in the way. When Bill want his Sookie,it sounds Cartman want Cheezy Poofz. Eric had gone that dark path b4 & he knew better becuz he's nine centries older. Deep inside Eric,an innoence child suffered from abuse. He had been thurs pain in 1000 yrs.

@Kodanikage WTF, who else do you then see as a guy who could date Sookie´; Bill is the biggest douche of them all, that lying rat. And Eric isn´t that mean that you want him to be, he is over 1000 years old and thats why he probably doesn´t really know who to treat humans or women in general right. But I don´t see him as dangerous or someone who just wants to have her body. If it is like that, he could have already just taken her, that would be no problem for him;
