And Deadmansparty, Lorena actually does get staked by Sookie in the novels when Bill is rescued. Lorena is dead by the fourth book.

Bill does "run off" with his maker in the novels because Lorena summons him. Sookie seeks him out and finds him chained in silver, stakes Lorena, and puts Bill in the trunk of a Lincoln. Obviously you cannot criticize someone who likes the plot of the books when you do not even know what goes in the books.Bill continues to pursue Sookie in Bon Temps past book three.

@Badewannenplantscher Yes exactly! It wasn't boring in one of the last season! But NOW it's gone, over, already seen. We need to move on not back! That's one of True Blood's best things: innovation and unexpected twists. That should be the winning key of every show

@mandyrulezforever That goes against what happend in the books, where Jason DOES become a werepanther. Alcide says no such thing; what he does say is that weres that are bitten and not born don't live as long as pure-blood weres. A bitten werepanther like Jason becomes a half-human/half-panther hybrid that walks on two legs instead of all fours. It seems like a waste of time to even introduce Crystal and the werepanthers if they weren't going somewhere with it.

i was completely obsessed with this show when i started watching it. especially since it was the first show (or movie) that was actually better than the books! those books were awfully written and the ideas were pretty good but charlaine harris always screwed it up. with alan ball writing, this show was amazing. but like, the past maybe two episodes i've been really disappointed, especially with sookie and eric!! i don't know..i still love this show..i just wish other things could have happened.

@emilylouisechurchos Jessica doesn't exist in the book series and Lafayette was supposed to be killed in season 2 if not before. The fact that they are deviating from the books says that Sookie may not actually end up with Eric in the long run which means she may choose Bill instead of Eric in the long run on the TV show. As I understand it, Bill runs off with his maker (who shouldn't be dead btw) in the books. Don't assume that Eric is Sookie's true love.

@CorvusBruxo Adaptations from the book should at least have a semblance of the original plot line. In the Harry Potter movies, if Voldemort did not die at the end of the series because the director wanted it that way, would that be okay too? Or is it too much to ask for a main storyline to at least be present in book-to-screen adaptations? In the SVM series, Harris has Sookie and Eric's relationship be a major plot. In the beginning credits, you can see that the show is "based off the SSN".

I love you Alan Ball!! Would love to know why you pussified the werewolves into being completely frightened of vampires when they are great adversaries for vampires for good reason. One day i'd love to ask u what ur reasoning was behind that if ever i got a chance...They usually don't cower away. But apart from that, i do love you dude!! Just give them more balls next time! They're not Werepoodles! Oh, and i LOVED ep10. The ending out of the SUV was so sick!

Maybe it is because the writers finally realized that Tommy was a crap character that few really liked, thus killing him off... but i find it rather odd that his death is not mentioned at all in this 'inside the episode', i personally thought it was a extremely sad/emotional scene, especially for Sam.

I realize that Alan Ball actually got full creative license from Charlaine Harris, but he perpetuates that he is representing the main plots. I would have no problem with him having full creative license with this series save for the fact that he has deviated so far from the books that he cannot even claim that this show is "based" off the books. At this point, the show only uses the names and convienient plots from the series that Harris wrote. The "spirit of the books" is not represented here.

@sda1225 Layfayette seen Renae remember in Merlottes when he was cooking behind arlene n he jolted in fear because he was still adapting 2 his "Medium" condition. Renae is obviously stalking arlene as a spirit and the baby obviously IS a medium aswell because it interacted with the french womans spirit whom thought it was her baby inwhich why she was attached to the kid. I think Renae will be back after POSSING his own son maybe two seasons from now? Thing is, u don't jus b a medium over night

@Msaksfan if anything I'd think Eric is the most qualified to be king in even the north americas district of vampire "royalness" being russel is a madman and Godric is a memory. Eric has more than "enough" years on the job, about 9 times more than bill, but as I said bill and nan have a HUGE backstory with A.B. next season will exploit that as this season hinted, Bill the punk rocker... ROFL haha, his makeup made him look edgy but it suited him! lol, I like bill though, Eric aswell, so.. yea

I don't want something romantic and "normal" like it was for Sookie and Bill. I think we have different views on what we'd like to see in a on-screen relationship, that's all! I'm more like "let's go with the bastard guy" like maaany women out there! ahaha poor me!

I have been a true blood fan since the beginning(never read the books) but I am not feeling the connection between Bill and Sookie I feel it should be a dead story line, too drawn out. Unlike Vampire Diaries I still feel pulled between both, but not in this case at all. Mr Ball please develope REAL Eric and Sookie relationship more , and find someone that fits Mr Bill.

Like some others have already mentioned, why the hell do you always try to push a love triangle, its so Twilight ugh...; we had 3 seasons of Sookie and Bill and everyone who has read the books knows that Eric and Sookie are actually the main couple in the books, he is always there for her... I can fully understand that Sookie still has feelings for Bill, because it wasn´t so long ago that they have broken up and he was her first love, but why the hell "I cannot exist in a world without him"

@fefe3115 yea cuz they're married in real life and don't wanna hurt poor stephen moyer too bad while he watches his wife get freaky with alexander, while all the time stephen has been banging mad chicks this season to begin with, yet i hear stephen is the one bothered while watching behind set, yet anna obviously is fine with it, WORST thing to happen is having them two get married, now if they divorce expect the show to be RUINED....
