All I can say is "Wow!" This is the first video that we've done that has gained this type of traction and it's been tremendous. Special thanks to all of those that take time out of their days (or nights) to watch the content, thumbs up it, and comment their thoughts. It really means a lot and I'm glad that so many folks are enjoying whats been uploaded. December Compilation coming soon, so please be on the lookout for that as well. Hope to catch you on the next ones!
Punky story hits home. I have a Saint Bernard that someone tried to enter my apartment drunk when he was young. I was terrified. I think he remembered that because he now guards me and the house I bought for the animals with his life. Someone tried breaking in once and he stopped that before it truly started. Best dog I could ever ask for.
Dogs truly are amazing and in a lot of cases, we do not deserve them. So glad you had your St. Bernard and that he handled any threat that you may have had with care for you and your family. Sounds like an amazing dog.
I love the story with Tag the cat. I was walking the property raking leaves/ picking up hurricane debris with my barn cat and he ran ahead, then ran back and stopped in front of me and started yowling at me like he was feral lol. He ran back about 15 ft to a pile of debris and started hissing and growling. There were a bunch of baby copperhead snakes blending in to the debris that he was growling at. Such a good boy he was. Also, love your narration! This is like my third time watching as i keep falling asleep lol.
Glad to have you here and that even after falling asleep to my voice, you’re back to try and finish the video. That means a lot and I truly thank you for the support!! 😃 😃
My big black cat attacked the neighbors cat in their house. She also brought wildlife home as a thank you. She would hiss and bark at people she did not know at the front door.
It is ridiculous the number of people who are in fear for their lives, cowering from a burglar or other bad guy, but wait until other family members get home to call 911, or call a family member rather than 911, this delaying police response and virtually eliminating any hope that the bad guy/burglar/interloper will be caught and identified.
Humans all seem to react differently in the face of crises. Some lock up and freeze while others spring into action. Many people will fall somewhere in between those two. I think that (as macabre as it sounds) it may be best to consider all sorts of situations that may occur and pre-plan how you as an individual will choose to respond. Failing to plan, is planning to fail.
WOW! Love story 31 - the one about the girl who gets rid of the men surrounding her car by telling them she's just shot her boyfriend and the cops are after her! Excellent.
@@josephcassidy1211Cult coffin, Let's Read, the haunting truth, king spook, and of course T6 if you dont mind green text stories. A few of my favorite that I listen to regularly:) Edit: ohh and if your into true crime you can't go wrong with "that chapter".
Let me start off by saying thanks for finding us!! And if you enjoyed this upload, please check out our stacked catalogue of content. With over 170 videos already, I hope you stick with us as we unveil more and more stories and content this year. Thanks again, glad to have you here. 😁😁
It is pretty monotone though... I would take monotone any day over someone speaking a mile per minute, so quickly that you can't even understand half of what they're saying. But I'll take both of those over AI voices that repeat the same sentences and glitch constantly. It's such a pet peeve when those AI speakers repeat the same sentence twice, throughout the entire video. Even if it's only once, I can't help but cringe. Some of the others try to speak quickly to cover more words in less time, because the longer the video, the longer it takes to edit a string of ever changing stock footage together to keep people's attention. I think we all like long videos to listen to while we work, or do house work. Having to change the video every 20 to 30 minutes is frustrating. But then, they usually glue together multiple videos and then you have to wade through all the stories you've already heard. Or they all read the exact same stories, word for word, off reddit. I will have to listen to this entire video first to see if it's the same as all the others or not.
Found a new bedtime RU-vid channel! I'll fall asleep about a quarter the way through, then wake up and go back to where I last remember and listen to all that I missed, while i drink my coffee 😅 If not the stories, your voice has me hooked 😉
Thank you for the support! It really means the world when folks such as yourself choose to show love to our little ole channel, when there are 1000s of other creators such as us in the space. Truly appreciate it and I look forward to seeing you on all the upcoming releases we have coming. 😁😁
There was actually kind of a funny story. I used to live in a poor neighborhood of LA where police wouldn’t bother to get to. I encountered a lot of creeps and creepy situations there, with men following me and other stuff. So one late evening I had to get something from a nearby little local store. So to feel safer I put on the biggest baggiest clothes and a parka I could find, the tallest sneakers I could put on and a hat and a hood on, plus a mask, 😷 since it was COVID. I also walked “like a man would”, as I’m a skinny feminine girl, so I was walking strangely haha. Anyways, on my way there I noticed that there was a girl walking in front of me and she kept turning around and looking at me. She then ran into the same store and told the owner that “someone was following her and that she was scared”. When I took my hood, hat, and mask off and let my long blond hair drip down my shoulders we laughed. I told her, I am just as scared walking those streets so I “try to look more intimidating”. Apparently, it worked!)
You absolutely became that other young girl's Let's Not Meet story. Although you may have given her a lesson on how to dress to creep out other creepers. Civic duty. Thanks for watching!
I was thrilled with his decision to speed up and plow through them!! That was not the time or place for “soft” decisions, and I would like to think that anyone with the least bit of common sense would’ve made the same decision!! Any other decision would’ve probably resulted in him not being here to tell about it!
Thanks so much Danielle!! Truly means a lot to have the support and I definitely welcome you to the community. I certainly hope to see you on all the other uploads as well.
I love it when I'm distracted by something inane (or not) at home and RU-vid is just randomly selecting weird sh-t for me to listen to but what comes up ? An episode of Malevolent Mischief I haven't heard yet. Sometimes life just straight up hands you lemonade!
TRUTH!! Absolutely love this gentleman. Hope he has a wall filled with RU-vid awards. Speaking of awards-I would much rather watch an hour or two of RU-vid video awards than the Oscars ANY DAY.
Maaaannnn! Your voice soothes my soul but your stories make the hair on my neck stand up a little bit! I’m glad I found your channel! Thank you for all these great stories!
The guy in the first story did not overreact. He was smart enough to start paying attention as soon as he saw the lights. He made the only decision he could have survive.
This happened to my husband. He was in his truck and 3-4 guys were in the road trying to block it. He hit the gas and they tried to get out of the way. One didn't quite make it all the way out of the way of his big mirrors on the sides of his truck. We watched as the he was hit by one and actually spun twice before hitting the ground.
FAIR WARNING: DO NOT listen to these stories when trying to fall asleep, this man's voice is soothing but the stories really freaked me out!! I am definitely now a new subscriber!!😊😏🤯😵💫
I listen to all these stories when going to sleep, my favourite is listening to it in the mornings while sleeping then sometimes I get so freaked out by these stories that I actually get goosebumps, I am so in to it, no better way to listen to it then closing your eyes and just focusing on it
Yeah .. I never remember my dreams but falling asleep with this in my ears gives me nightmares. The most embarrassing part is that I'm pretty sure it's just the creepy music and not the creepy words lol
I’ve officially been binging your videos since finding your channel! I love that I have never heard any of these stories before, so many other channels like this have way too many repeats of stories!
That is amazing to hear. Thank you so much for pumping me up and being here to support. It really means more than you know. Looking forward to seeing you in the comment sections of plenty of our uploads. Thanks again! 😁
I agree.. some channels definitely do a lot of repeats. It's like, gee, what's so bad about looking for new stories/content to share? Is the whole thing about people not bothering to look for new content, contagious or something? The channel "Lazy Masquerade", is a really good channel also, like this one. He has true stories about all things mysterious, from around the world, and does an excellent job researching everything related to any incidents of the unusual in his videos. I'm new to this channel, and a 1st time listener. The people are nice in the comments, and a good host here, who really knows how to narrate these stories without sounding like a used car salesman or someone trying to sensationalize the stories when it's not needed. Just telling it like it is. Anyway, cheers & happy listening 🖐️😌
Just found this channel last night… was apprehensive as shi$t, scared!…. but strangely fell asleep, had a weird dream, woke up and continued listening! Well, I can say, going to pay attention to my gut feeling and be aware… already very cautious… family think I’m nuts!!!! Not! You have a new follower ❤
Wow. Even that comment was a wild ride!! Thanks for being here, glad to have you along for this journey. Looking forward to seeing you on all of our other content as well. 😁😁
You have the perfect “scary youtuber” voice it doesnt sound like you’re actively trying to make your voice sound creepy its just your voice being good for these stories
Wow these were some great stories! Great job picking them out and narrating. This might just be my new bedtime story channel! Can’t wait for new content and I’ll be sure binge the older ones. Glad to have come across you☺️👍🏽
Super pumped to have you here, Caitlin! Hope you enjoy all the videos and get some great sleep as a result of them. Looking forward to seeing you on all the other uploads as well! 😃😃
I echo one of the comments who had fallen asleep listening to you and then came back to listen again, because that's exactly what I am doing, haha. You are very easy to listen to, as well as enjoyable. I have the bell on to inform me when you release new content and I will definitely be tuning in. Thank you!
I truly appreciate anybody that finds their way back to our videos after falling asleep to them. I know there are a million other videos/creators that you can show love to do it means a lot that you’re right back here with me. Thanks so much and I look forward to catching you on all the upcoming releases as well. 😁😁
I had something similar happen to me in story 1. I am a female driving home from the hospital around 3am. I am a nurse and was working partial nights. I came around a corner and saw an older man walking with a cane. Bit creepy in the fog at 3am but my gut told me not to stop. Immediately afterwards a man wearing a hockey mask swinging a bat suddenly appeared trying to block the road. I just pushed down on the accelerator figuring whatever criminal sentence I picked up would be better than sticking around for this guys party of one!! So creepy!!! He jumped out of the way and I called 911. The rest of the way home I felt like he was on my car somewhere somehow so irrational but so traumatizing.
Holy cow, that is terrifying, and way creepy! Like something that you'd literally see in a horror movie. Smart move also, by just putting your foot down on the gas pedal and giving"bat-boy" some intimidation right back at him, like either die, or get out of my way, fool, cuz I don't stop for freaking weirdos who would beat up old men or scare women & kids. Just goes to show, weird stuff happens all the time, and we seldom see it coming. It matters sometimes, how we react. You were thinking smartly Glad you are safe. Pretty scary story. Thanks for sharing it 👍😎
We absolutely do, and with very little assistance for those plagued with drug dependency. It’s an illness and def should be looked at as such. Thanks for watching and thank you for the support.
Have you guys heard stories about the little kids with solid black eyes that knock on your door super late at night and do all kinds of other creepy shit to torment people?
@@A_Koomers_Wrath you’re joking right? You’re trolling. MethAMPHETAMINE is a CNS stimulant, as is cocaine. They dilate pupils and increase heart rate. Barbiturates are “downers” which have depressant effects. Heroin and other opiates are CNS depressants which constrict pupils and lower heart and respiratory rates- often to the point of death when mixed with other substances like benzodiazepines (such as Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin) or alcohol which also has depressant effects. You’re either trolling or r/confidentlywrong. I’m giving you the out of trolling because it would be embarrassing if you’re serious.
New subscriber- always super happy to find a new channel to quench my need for the dark- mysterious- creepy and the macabre stories on the net! Thank you! 🤟🖤
That’s awesome, Brandy! Thanks for finding us and I hope you’re here for all the things we have up our sleeves moving forward. I appreciate the support for sure! 🙏 🙏
I love your channel but I’ve learned not to listen at night and I’m alone. Scares the living daylights out of me! But I do so love it! Thank you so much!
I love that you’re here to support the channel, and I’d contend that if you’re watching in the evening that there are no daylights to scare out of you. So you’ll be just fine. 😉
@@MalevolentMischief They are yes, and I understand also that they can be the worst and very sad sometimes. Those ones always make me cry. Again, thankyou for your stories. You keep me going when I'm in a bad way and need to take my mind off of my own horrible existence, which is also helped by my wonderful pets. Thankyou
Not sure if that's insomnia related or if your day just allows you to binge creepy content early in the morning, but either way I absolutely appreciate your support. Thank you, and know we have plenty more coming your way!
@@MalevolentMischief I just woke up last night around 330am and couldn’t fall back to sleep. Lol. So I got on RU-vid for a bit and then came across this video. So I started listening to it. 🤣
You’re the real MVP for tuning in at those moments where sleep is difficult to grasp. I wish you nothing but sound rest tonight, and if you can’t sleep, you know where to find us! 😁
@@MalevolentMischief I’m going through most of the comments. I just became a new subscriber and I really appreciate that you reply to your listeners. That means a great deal to me. Shows that you care about what we think and care. I know in time when your channel blows up you will not be able to . We will always know that you care. Looking forward to Rocking with you!
Story 4: Honestly his friends deserve to know what happened. It’s in the past and it’s their right to know that there was an intruder. They also should have been told that something’s wrong so they can at least know to lock their doors. Oh yeah, LOCK YOUR FU€KIИG DOORS PEOPLE!!!!!!!
Dude story 7!!!!!! Those campers were crazy, I have a feeling the kids were like the black eyed children. So creepy. Dude this channel is awesome 😎 subbed asap! Great content, can’t wait to see what you have in store for us. Congrats on your success man, you really deserve it!
Seems like that entire family was on the same nefarious page and OP needed to avoid them like the plague. Glad everybody got out of there unscathed and hopefully OP found a better BF. Lol. Thanks for the sub, glad to have you here and I definitely can’t wait to see you on other uploads as well. I definitely appreciate the support, F I T W. 😃 😃
Subscribed. Finally, someone without some nails on a chalkboard forced inflection. ❤️ I swear, how do those channels take off but your voice doesn’t? It will. 👍
I’m 3:02:35 the one that creeped me out the most was the story about the girl home alone, luckily she had her 2 dogs to protect her. I can relate since I was home alone a lot in my teens. You’ve done a great job narrating, awesome story teller!
Thanks so much for the positive feedback, I really do appreciate it. And yes, rarely, if ever, does an awesomely positive story start out with "So I was home alone one time..." Glad everybody emerged safe from that one (as well as the other stories). Dogs are simply amazing.
mind blown by your voice, wow. I love listening to all kinds of scary stories narration videos, but wow your voice is so calming, it made my headache go away! you definitely got a new subscriber
This is awesome!! Glad to have you join this journey and I’m even more glad to help your headache dissipate. I truly hope to catch you on all our other uploads as well. Thanks for the sub, Andjela!
Hey Catherine!! So very glad you found us and you’re enjoying the content so far. I think you’re spot on, if you’re listening with an open mind, some of these stories can really catch you off guard. Thanks again for the support!
Recently came across your channel the other night and wound up falling asleep to a video (in a good way of course!) and I was kicking myself for not subscribing then soo when I just saw that this video popped up on my recommended, you can bet I didn’t waste any time subscribing! It’s lovely to see the comments mention how they also just stumbled across your videos and I’m glad you’re getting the recognition your content definitely deserves. And here’s my 2¢: Clear voice; great volume and cadence in your reading; simple yet captivating visuals; and of all the Reddit content on YT, I’ve yet to see story compilations so you’ve carved out a niche little corner for yourself. Much love to you and yours from Texas! 💛🤘🏽
Lindsey!! So glad to hear that you found the channel not once but twice!! Means a lot to me that you're here and enjoying the content, and I hope to see you on all the upcoming releases as well. Monday / Wednesday / Fridays are when we post new terrifying tales and every month I do my best to compile all the stories from the previous month in one long-format video that you can just set & forget. In fact, we've got another one set to come out today!! Thanks again for the support, and from California (where I'm at) to Texas, I appreciate the love. 😃😃
I’m new too!!! Had me hooked from the very first story!!! Honestly scared me while making a sandwich to be eaten on lunch break!!! Keeps me alert too!!
I have been listening to you for awhile 😮i love your voice and all the content. Thank you so much! My fav story was one about a boy that was evil in a mental hospital.
I really enjoy your narrations. I listen to them everyday while I work on my art projects. Your stories are very interesting . You should really look into narrating audio books . You have the right voice for it . Thankyou for the entertainment .
Thank you very much for letting us hang out with you while you knock out your projects! Glad to have you along for the ride. If you’re interested in hearing some of the audiobooks I’ve lent my voice to, please email me at media.deadstock@gmail.com and I’ll be glad to share the list. 😁😁
Love this channel! I experienced the same as the girl of story #8! But three men were hitting on my car. I was so bummed that the police can’t do anything because if someone hits your car they’re not technically attacking you.
Subscribed! I've listened to quite a few videos narrating various stories and trust me when I say keep it up! Each story had me captivated due in large part by your skill at storytelling. Looking forward to checking out your other vids.
Thanks a bunch, not only for your thoughts, but also the support. Glad that you’re here and I hope to catch you on all the upcoming releases we have planned. Thanks again for taking the time, and have a great one! 🙏🙏
Just how unaware are the friends in the first story? Who in their right mind would leave nails on the road and lay down in the MIDDLE of it to "prank someone"? Nails on the road, makeshift barricades, people who don't let you pass - they're all known tactics of people who in the best scenario want to steal your car. He should've called the cops, the next person on that road might not have been so lucky.
Great 👌💯 stories this is my first time watching your video. Great narrative and contents I love the beautiful pictures. Keep up the great work. Well appreciated thank you ❤❤❤❤
So glad to have you here!! Thanks for sharing the positive vibes and I hope to catch you on all of our other uploads as well. There are definitely plenty of them.
Newbie here.. I am so so glad I found your channel. I will be a forever subscriber thats for sure. I love your content and your voice is astronomical!!! Keep up the good work!
Astronomical, you say?? Quick way to make me blush. Thanks so much for finding us and I’m super pumped to hear that you enjoy the content. Here’s hoping I see you on the next set of uploads as well. Thanks again for joining the party, Judy!! 😃 😃
That first story gave me the chills, I was with my girlfriend a few years ago on I-95 going through South Carolina and had people run out in front of our car at 3am. Nothing around, no cars, buildings, anytning for miles. It happened twice, 15 minutes apart. There was some sort of coordination going on, but I wasn't willing to stop. They were in reflective vests, but had no lights or equipment. These men were prepared to carjack us and do God knows what else, there's no other reasonable explanation
Whoa. Your story gave me chills! After presenting that particular story on our channel, I’ve had several people share similar encounters. Sometimes they’ve stopped, other times they’ve plowed right through. But each time, the creep factor is absolutely through the roof.
Your voice is very smooth, listened to this whole thing while drawing! I gotta admit the transition music from story to story is kind of loud but it adds to the creep factor
Thanks for listening, W O A S!! Much appreciated. I’ll def take into consideration that the transition music can be a little jolting for some. Thanks for the feedback as well!
Yeah, it’s definitely not too bad cause I have fallen asleep to this video, but the first transition I heard it kind of surprised me. Great video overall.
I think you’re very right, Stephanie. There was nothing nice about that situation one bit. Thank you for taking the time to watch, and I appreciate the support! 😃
In the first story, to anyone in this situation, if your gut is telling you that something is wrong and you are in a situation where there is likely danger, serious danger, do not take the risk. Turn around or do whatever it takes for you to live to see the next day bc they are in the wrong. That was no overreacting. That person made the right decision. Don't chance it.
This is one of those situations that realistically happens all the time all over the world. Just another reason I think everyone who can responsibly/legally own and carry a firearm should 100% get one to have as another layer of protection. I'd rather have my guns even if I never have to use one vs get caught in a situation where I need one and don't have it!
Hello I just came across your channel and as a result spent far too much time listening to your lovely voice. I'm loving what you do so you have a new sub. Keep up the good work Mr Mischief. 🙏👍😍
Lesley!! Thanks so much for the kind words and I’m truly pumped to have you here. Looking forward to seeing you on other uploads as well, welcome to the community! 😃 😃
I like the narration! Calm & soothing, but still interesting. Other sites have a narrator that tries to sound scary & it is just distracting. Or they add their own comments which is just not needed.
Glad you enjoy the sounds of the content, Angie!! Pumped to have you on board for this journey and I hope you stick around for all the upcoming releases we have on the way.
Thanks Nichole!! Super glad to have you aboard and I hope to catch you on all the upcoming episodes as well! We upload every Monday / Wednesday / Friday, so I’ve got a fresh episode prepped for you later today!
@Malevolent Mischief - I've watched several of your videos now, and this is my favourite one so far. Your narration is excellent; engaging and nicely enunciated, but not unnecessarily dramatic, which allows the stories to speak for themselves. I've subscribed to your channel. 🙂
Nice! I enjoy going to different reddit subs like r/backwoodscreepy and r/poststraumatic and read the stories. I had no idea anyone had made them audio! I can just lay back and listen now!
Super glad to be your first endeavor into listening to creepy Reddit stories instead of reading yourself!! Pumped to have you here and I hope to see you on all the other uploads we’ve got going. January compilations upcoming. 💪 💪
I love your voice. It is so soothing. You are a great narrator. I love listening to you. You have helped me so much in the middle of the night. You will never know how much!! Thank you for all your wonderful stories that you read from other people❤
That is wonderful to hear!! You know.. this is one of our older compilations and I don't have the easiest time of going back and listening to these stories (I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I don't think my tone is adequately reflected in our earliest contributions to the platform), but it really is gratifying to learn that others enjoy the content. Pushes me along on the pursuit to be even better and tell even more twisted stories down the road! Hope you check out or other compilations/episodes as well, and thank you for the support, Courtney! 😁😁
You do a great job as narrator. I enjoyed the sound of your voice! The stories were pretty interesting but many sound like they are written by the same person especially when they use terms like “in my heart of hearts” (used in three different tales). 👌
Thank you so much for tuning into the channel and I definitely appreciate the feedback. While I don’t try to edit what I read more than what is necessary to make it clear and as concise as possible, I think I may be to blame for the repetition of that turn of phrase. Hope it didn’t take away from the experience too much, and I’ll definitely be more conscious of the ways I choose to relay “I really believe.” Lol. 😊 😊
@@MalevolentMischief If you are adding minor touches to the stories then it totally makes more sense than random people using the same phrase! Thank you for the clarification. I'm really impressed with your ability to read/narrate so smoothly without ever (don't remember hearing any) misspeaking or stumbling on the words. Bravo! I subscribed yesterday.
This right here! ☝️ This is exactly why I began this channel, so I want to thank you for being here and contributing to the hustle. Means a lot and I definitely hope you stick around for all the things we’ve got planned. 👍 👍
@Malevolent Mischief I just saw your comment! It's my pleasure being here! I wanna thank you for the effort in making these videos! I'll definitely be sticking around 🤙
My brother got off work in downtown Houston around three am. He was driving in empty city downtown roads. People stepped in the road to block him. He couldn't turn around. He Floored it also and heard them yell, get out of the way he's crazy.
For the record, I don't think your brother was the crazy one in that situation. It was the people who tried to block him in the road while he was behind the wheel of a two-ton death machine. While I hope everybody made it home safely that night, I levy an extra hope that those people re-evaluated their choices in life. Thanks so much for watching!
I certainly don’t take that praise lightly, R L. It really is an honor to be brought up in the same breath as those creators and it makes my night knowing that you enjoy our content in the same way. Thanks a bunch for the support, glad to have you here. 😁😁
I feel like the transitions between stories are pretty rough. Other than that, I'm loving this! I have work in 3 hours but I'm on edge and can't stop listening to this.
Glad to have you on board, Ian!! Hope you enjoyed the whole compilation. And thank you for a little constructive criticism as well, I’m open to it all. I too feel my transitions can be a little abrupt at times, so that definitely lets me know it’s not just me noticing. I’ll def be looking into how I can pad those a little more for the viewing pleasure of folks. 👍
@@MalevolentMischief You might experiment with fading the volume of the interlude music in and out. Possibly having it start underneath the last few seconds of the story and end a few seconds after starting the next.
Thanks so much for watching, super pumped to have you here. Please check out some of the other uploads and be sure to let me know what you think! Thanks again, and welcome to the community. 💪 💪
Welcome and thanks for finding us here on YT! It's always great to connect with folks from the other side of the world, and I truly appreciate the support. Thanks again and I hope to see you on other uploads as well! 😁😁
Super appreciated, Ellen!! Glad that you were here for this one, and I hope to see you on the December compilation when it drops later today. Thanks again for the support. 😃
