True Love is a 10-episode documentary on some of the most important American Tattooers. This first series is the journey of three filmmakers from Italy, getting tattooed along the East Coast. It tries to focus on various aspects of tattooing, but most of all on the relationship tattooer-customer, from the point of view of the same customer.
Episode 03: once again we're in Brooklyn, New York. This time it's at the brand-new Smith Street Tattoo Parlour with Eli Quinters, where he works with two other great tattooers, Steve Boltz and Bert Krak.
Eli is an awesome guy, and he's going to tell us lots of stories about his hometown in Utah, the mexican-skate imagery, and how he sees himself in 20 years.
