My Chihuahua is curled up against my back right now. This is "her place". As soon as I lay down, she comes up and backs up into me. She must have a high metabolism cuz she's hot and keeps me warm. I have to turn the heat down at night or I'd cook. They certainly are wonderful little companions and watch dogs. Have had mine going on 11 years now and still going strong. 😊 🐕 ❤
Oh this really made me miss my little dog, he was a Jack Russell but tiny! The same size as a chihuahua & he did the same thing. I had him for 15yrs 😊❤
My little Chihuahua used to lie next to me and use me as a hot water bottle with her tummy against my thigh and my hand/arm on her back to keep warm. Sadly she passed away last year after 11 years together. 😔🇦🇺
@@lexikareen6093 Small breeds have tiny litters. A lot of the time, it's a single pup. It's also a lot more risky and dangerous for small breeds to birth pups.
@bevalee1533 not really. She's bonded tightly to mama Chihuahua, and this is a loving, shared experience for all. I had the same thing with my sweet Pittie girl Zoë when she had her litter of 6 in 2017. Zoë was my bestie, my shadow, my little spoon and my Soul dog. I assisted when she gave birth to each pup, and I slept in her birthing/puppy pool for the first 2 weeks of their lives. I lost my baby girl and Soul dog suddenly and unexpectedly in September. I was there when SHE and her brother Tank were born, held her many times before we brought them home to our house. I held her as she died. There's a bond so tight, that these things are just natural.

My chihuahua girl was pregnant. She was supposed to have 3 but her 2nd scan showed she absorbed all the puppies. She was supposed to be due in the next week 😭

Have had 3 chi pup litters and witnessed their birth. Privilege of my life ( as a childless woman) Chihuahua puppies are some of the cutest creatures in the world ❤❤❤❤ Love my chihuahua sooooo much. One litter was 6! Vet had me sit down before showing me the xray😅
i had 4 at the same time 3 girls and 1 boy. all have passed now and i miss them very much. each had their own personalities and special talents of tricks they did, one sang and my boy dog was so sensitive that he cried if you hurt his feelings. my older female was the grandma of the bunch and kept them in line.. all lived passed 20 yrs.

I rescued my chihuahua. She was the love of my life. I will miss her forever❤. Her ashes will be buried with me. I now have 3 cats. I can’t replace my puppy.❤
My baby boy and soulmate, Dolché, passed away on 2/23/23 @ 15.4 years. This has been the hardest year of my life without him. He looked so similar to your sweet girl (he was black instead of brown though). Thank you for making my day brighter today by sharing this video.
