Almost 40 reps on JJ here, I feel like you, Prince Yasuke, have captured the real essence of Jiang Jun which almost every other content creator hasn’t. They all play him like they would play any other hero, but JJ is an entity of his own. You can beat an opponent that is more skilled than you with good spacing and timing alone. With Jiang Jun you don’t outreact your opponent, you outthink him. With good spacing skills you control the fight and you punish those who are bold enough to attack you in the realm in which you are a god. Those who pitifully rush forward only end up realizing that JJ never breaks, he stretches and stretches to always give back what you gave him tenfold. Him and Tiandi have such an amazing flow to them it is such that I never get tired of playing them. As is the case for both of them, float like a butterfly sting like a bee. JJ is the sole reason I still play For Honor even tho in my opinion CCU killed him a little for me (delays were magical in the right hands)
I've been watching this trying to learn a few combos and I can't even figure out how you get half this shit to work. The heavy overhead onto the foot kick can't even register on my game but I see you here doing it. Wild
Dude that whole first minute of gameplay had my jaw dropped the entire time! I love jj he has become my main. Anyone saying "I want/need jj," yes you do. If you can parry worth any damn and much like our good sir here, learn how to use his chains and feints well, he can take on anything. Hell just yesterday i took a whole team in dominion. No feats used, no usefuo teammate to help. Just JJ. Props to you man! I want another montage im so thirsty for it
Like he said, JJ is better, and always feels amazing. That being said, Shaolin takes some serious skill, just has issues all around and requires a good deal of mind games, overall very satisfying to learn and master.
Jj is good for passive aggressive players you can defend with the stance and parry punish and since he can regain stamina fast you can go on the attack and feint alot and he has dodge attacks to make him more deadly
Woo, Prince is back in full-swing. Love to see it man, great montage. I've got to ask: you planning on playing Gryphon? A lot of people are reasonably drawing a comparison between him and JJ. Kit looks like it might be a little bloated, but after initial tweaks hopefully not too bad. Last I was playing, I'd gotten JJ to rep 10 and I've actually been looking forward to the new guy so I was just curious.
I think JJ’s chock is great and all but if you do his unblock zone from a party and do a light you'll get one free and a almost free, just depends if they was blocking that way or not
Choke puts a lot of pressure on them to watch their stam and allows you to Regen. Even if you don't get damage off of it chances are they have to back off a bit. Allowing you to stay in control of the fight. Whereas zone eats up stam and is more useful in 4s
@@PrinceYasuke Noice dude. I main kensei and shao (among 6 mains, for now), and appreciate a lot Tiandi, Nobushi and Aramusha (waiting for a rework). But I dislike JJ because I can’t manage stamina with him, I’m always oos. And his choke and OOS punishes are just cancer lol
