Woman's point of view: She was having a party at her house and decided to order 4 pizzas She looked at the window to see if it was the pizza delivery guy that was ringing the doorbell When the guy dropped the pizza and ran, she assumed that he was giving her the pizza for free to be nice The woman decided to go outside and thank him, which is when he saw her in the rear view window When the police came, she panicked and ran off And the sharp things they found in her house, those are what she was gonna use to cut the pizza.

Gosh, I've heard this story many times and it still scares me. This is what I hate about being out in the dark, not knowing who or what was out there.

Something similar happened to a friend of mine. He had been delivering pizzas for almost 2 years and has had a lot of sketchy shit happen to him but only one thing really scared him. He was delivering 2 pizzas to an address that was almost in the middle of nowhere. They only delivered 30 minutes away from where the job was, and this was a twenty 25 minute drive. Like this story, the house was in a clearing in the woods. He drove up and put in in park. There was only a single light on at the porch and a lot of cars parked in the driveway, but there was also a glowing light kinda of off to the side of the house. He didn't think much of it, because he had delivered to other places that had been similar, "probably just a campfire gathering" he thought. He got the pizzas out and began to walk to where the light. As he got closer, he froze in shock. He said that what he saw still terrifies him to this day. There was a campfire, but a rather large campfire. Around the campfire stood 9 people (5 men and 4 women, each in their 40s to 50s) all dressed in black hooded robes facing the fire and were swaying and chanting. My friend was too scared to move, because he said they hadn't seen him yet and was afraid to make any noise. But then, he heard one of the women say "who's that?" It was like a reflex, he ran back to his car with the pizzas still in his hands. When he got to his car, he flung open the door and just threw the pizzas in the passenger seat and put it in drive and took off, his tires tearing up the driveway. He didn't stop til he got back to his job. When he got there, one of the cars from the house was there at his job. He froze again. But decided to go inside and tell his boss what happened. His boss was talking to one of the men from the house. As my friend approached still shaken with fear, the man said that it was only a joke and that they didn't mean any harm. He apologized and paid for his pizza but gave my friend a 200 dollar tip. After he left, my friend told his boss that he didn't wanna deliver anywhere that wasn't at least 10 minutes from the job. He said despite being a joke, he said it still scares him to think about it.

It was not scary, but the narrator made it more scary

So I’m an 86 year old woman who live practically in the middle of nowhere, I love pizza and decided to get 4 boxes of them. Since it was very late at night and the closet pizza place was kinda fat I was scared to call the pizza place but did it anyways. I was waiting about 10 minuets when I stared to dose off. About 10-20 minuets later I heard a hard knock at the door, I got up and put on my night gown and went down to see if it was the pizza man and it was! I looked thorough the blinds and saw the man with my pizza but as soon as he saw me he ran to his car. I was confused so I went outside to see if he was just checking something out but he started to drive away, he didn’t make it very far because the road and very bumpy and there’s always people throwing bottles all over the road. So all of his tires came off and so I ran over to the road and noticed he was in the car still. I looked at the car and smiled becuase I figured I could help since I had spare tires in the back but I guess he got startled and ran into the woods. And to this day I’m still sad I never got to eat my pizza 🍕

Theory: Some group of teens went into an abandoned house for a dare or for fun, and decided to order a pizza, but before the dude could deliver the pizza, they were killed by the ghosts in the house.
