I bought this after your review and I have a questiojn that I can't seem to get answered . I have one bolt left over that I can not figure out where it goes . Its the M14 bolt . It looks like the instructions say to put it on the opposite end of the rotating group from where it goes in my hitch . There is a whole there with a welded nut on the bottom .. but it holds nothing in place and will not go all the way in .
We bought the rack also and had the same issue with that bolt? We were also only able to get one semicircle plate on the middle support tube of each one. There was no way both would fit, did you have this issue? Would appreciate any info that would help. Thanks
@@marygzajdel1303 according to the company , the bolt is there just to help close the gap, and does nothing but that. I could not get it to go in but just barely and does nothing to the gap on the other side . I didn't put any of those plastic plates on , wouldn't go and it does nothing but maybe stop some noise .
@@bud4au575 we were able to get the plastic plates on and they do help with the wobble of the upright poles. My husband filed some of the edges and was easier to get on, also a little lubricant.
