True Spies: The Illegal 

Not only was the FBI listening in, they had purchased the house next door to him and were actively surveilling him. This guys daughter did a program called "Children of spies" or something similar and told her story of learning her dad was a spy. Her and Jack seemed to have fared pretty well in all of it considering but his daughters mother seems to still hold a grudge against Jack, and seemingly even her own child. During the episode his daughter attempted to ask her questions about the situation and the mother shut it down very quickly, and seemed to get angry at the girl for even having a relationship with her father. Having baggage is an understatement!

This is interesting. He states he just kind of winged it finding that professor. In the 80's - with a library card which he could have gotten easily, there were many university directories available. He could have requested it by inter-library loan - but he was in NYC so that big ole library there, probably had it on their shelves. Or he could just lift the phone and called information and called the university and asked for the prof's office address. Something is off here, I think.

How come he told yearlier he had entered USA through Canada, not Mexico as in this interview.
