That's because Garry's mod IS now Garry's mod 13. The other thing was just a beta to prepare the actual Garry's Mod for the update. The GUI looks much nicer in the new Garry's Mod, and it's much more efficient and quick than the old one. On top of that, things shouldn't break all the time now whenever there's a new Garry's Mod update (Although everything WAS broke because of this upgrade). The game GUI doesn't look like it's from the late 90's anymore, and it's overall more efficient.
