Truffle Dog Training | How To Indicate On A Scent | Learning The Basics 

In this video, I'm teaching Buddy how to indicate on a scent by placing his nose into some PVC pipe attached to some wood, whilst he is lying down.
Overtime, he will be able to hold position for up to 1 minute... but we're just starting out and he's still just getting the hang of it.
Once he has mastered this step, then we will increase the difficulty, change the environment and/or increase the duration of holds.
