God, just watching this... I only vaguely remember the wackier stuff from the show. What I'll always remember most about Static Shock is when they touched on the more heavier stuff. The one I'll always remember is the one where a troubled teen brought a gun to Static's school and shot Static's friend. The one next to that is the one where some young kid's step brother was pretending to like him for his powers. When this show got wacky, it was fun. When this show got heavy, it hit you like a fucking freight train.

Yup the show was amazing for that. All the DCAU shows were written well and are very watchable for adults. Of course they all have the more wacky episodes but overall great shows. I remember showing the first 3 episodes to my mates and the response I got was "this was for kids!?!?!!?" Haha

@@PsychoGoldVideos I think the top three episodes that stand out to me in the DCAU are the Static Shock episode with the school shooting, the Christmas Episode of Justice League Unlimited (I always choke up when Ultra Humanite helps Flash, and Flash brings him an aluminum christmas tree), and Ace's death.

Yeah Epilogue is a painful one man. Especially given how they were forced to abandon Batman Beyond without a proper ending.
