Hi.. I'm 11.5 on a brannock device and 11 in a Red Wing Iron Ranger. Truman feels perfect in a 11.5 for me. Great channel, Greetings from Germany

Love the videos! Truly the best boot content on RU-vid. I am going to get my first pair of Truman’s soon! Cheers everyone.

My experience has been excellent. My first pair of Truman boots arrived while I was out of State so couldn’t try them on until after the 7 day try on period expired. I needed a half size up, requested the exchange via email per policy and it was approved happily without hesitation. Haven’t gotten the new boots yet but I’m confident they will be perfect.

as usual great review and demonstration of this pair and brand. I think I will try and wait for Black Friday sale to see if I can save a couple hundred bucks.

I have experienced similar sizing issues. Luckily for some reason I went true to size and feel that the unstructured toe boots are sized perfect for me but the others are a tad large. This works for me personally as I'd rather wear thicker socks than have my toes squeezed. At first I thought it was the sole, with the Eugene sole running larger than the Commando. I can set them heel to toe and the Eugene definitely looks a smidge longer, but your experience with the toe structure makes more sense. I've got to say Truman is one of my top favorite makes, with their boots definitely getting the most wear out of my collection.

I have the exact same make up, down to the stitching color 😂 and honestly i have much “better” boots and these remain amongst my favorites and I believe the leather is my absolute favorite, the aubergine is beautiful and with time and sun it lightens up in some spots just like shell does and looks perfect🎉

You may not be curious about this, but I believe you're tying your shoelace knots as a "granny knot" instead of a "square knot," which is usually a stronger form of knot that looks almost identical but has a better/balanced structure.

I’m pretty sure I use what’s called a Berluti Knot. Unlike square and granny knots, it’s a double knot where you still have loops, and you still untie by pulling the ends.

@@Bootlosophy Interesting knot! I'll have to try it. You may already know this, but many knots can be tied asymmetrically which results in the knot twisting. A tell-tale sign of an unbalanced shoe lace knot is that the loops will prefer to lie up-and-down, rather than side-to-side.

In my experience Truman boots are true to size. I'm a 10.5 on brannek device and it said gonna half down but I had to send them back they were way too tight. Weird because my 10 D iron ranger fit great same with my 10 D MP Sherman boots

I’m not a “squeaky wheel” but had a less than pleasant experience with Truman, both in customer service and in final product in a pair I received in February 2023. Communication was pretty abysmal and the heel stack had what in my opinion was a defect they didn’t want to address.

I’ve heard this from time to time. I thought they’d got over their “communication” issues, but maybe not!
