The Truman show has been a favorite movie to me for about 15 years

I think the Truman Show is my favorite movie of all time. It's just so beautiful. The original Matrix. This maybe my favorite song to a movie of all time. The emotions are so strong. Every single time.

My issue isn't your interpretation of the song, that is personal taste. My issue is that your interpretation of the song is being presented as a "more epic" version of the original composition - a work which you did not write, nor influence, and without which your interpretation would not be possible - is disrespectful to the original composer (Philip Glass, in this case). Reinterpretation is a root of art, I hope you continue to find it rewarding. Just stay humble, and respect those that have laid the path for you to follow.
