Clint Martin how do you figure that man? He's backed out of almost every international treaty that the US used to be part of because he could NOT strike a deal with anyone. He claimed that the rest of the world was unfairly profiting off of the US. So he started throwing out tariffs. The world responded and slapped those tariffs right back since it was balanced before Trump's hissey fit. And lastly, this business on North Korea. Are you up to date with that whole topic? Yes? Ok perfect. So I don't need to explain to you that all this "deal" did was to give North Korea US protection while Kim DECIDED if he wanted to disarm. And I certainly don't need to tell you about how US intelligence agencies are now reporting ramped up production and enrichment of nuclear fuel. So I guess it turns out that the whole rest of the world was right and Kim never had any intention of disarming. He just used Trump to buy more time to produce more nuclear weapons. I'm sure that even Kim was surprised by the blatant stupidity of the American President offering US protection and shutting down the South Korean military training programs.
Donna Williams everyone else like you is so fixed on Trump being a bad president that they overlook the good things he has achieved so far, he has been the president for over a year now and America is still in one piece, not to say he is all good but give him a chance pause a little and see what he has done so far.
You know damn well this was not the reason people wanted him as president, don't get me wrong, Trump did a good thing here and I am relieved that NK is now considered somewhat friendly and we aren't gearing towards war. But saying that this was the reason a lot of people voted for Trump is a lie of sorts, considering his whole campaign promise was to build a wall.

I'm a Democrat from San Francisco and I applaud wholeheartedly what President Trump has accomplished thus far. He is doing his best to bring peace not only to that part of the world but create a win-win situation for all. A task no previous president had the smarts nor the guts to take on.

What about North Korean labor camps? What about the grandchildren of the Korean War soldiers and citizens who fought for the South? What about those who wanted to defect to the South to see their families again, or because they didn't like living under a totalitarian regime?
