While social media is and can be toxic, I was listening to Megyn Kelly who pointed out mainstream media, the papers in America, had a hate campaign against Trump. Maybe if you have time, listen to what she said. Mainstream media had front page pictures of Trump calling him Hitler, included a moustache. I am not excusing social media, just pointing out what the papers have said, also what Biden said. Horrific comment from Biden before this happened. What people are saying now, I don’t know. I’m just devastated for all those people who had to witness such an awful crime in a place that was supposed to be safe. My heart goes out to the families that have lost their loved one, and the person who was severely injured. ❤❤ Prayers for all those impacted. 🙏
@@LadyJane. the media propaganda against Trump started the day he came down the escalator to announce his run for president. It hasn’t stopped since 2015. That’s nine years of propaganda and hatred. The sad part is everything they reported was not true or was setup by democratic party operatives. Anyone remember the steel dossier, Obama wire, tapping the Trump campaign… I could go on and on about what they did to this man. And all he wants is to bring America back to it former greatness, not in military strength, but an economic powerhouse once again.

My son, who is a Secret Service agent, was at that rally. It was the longest hour of my life until he called mom to let her know her baby was okay and he would see her tomorrow.

CIA is not supposed to operate domestically. Secret Service is primary protection and has a way to gather intelligence about potential threats. It was a failure of intelligence not to receive the sniper threat. When under staffed errors can occur.

So any decreased levels of government funding SS protection was made per his suggestion. This can be verified by a bit of research online.

I was making macaroni salad and my husband told me to look at the TV. I don't care what side anyone is on, there's no room for this in a civilized society. The people in the front row stood up and were barricading him. The people behind him didn't run, or panic. They stayed to see if he was ok. The man who was killed had an emergency room physician immediately run up there and administer instant aid. It didn't help and he's not going to bill the family. The family will be taken care of and we'll vote how we feel is proper without being intimidated. Law enforcement immediately took care of the threat. Our country's doing fine. Our media sucks.

Here in the US, we heard it was a rifle and we saw a clip of a dead body on a roof outside the parameter of the rally. I feel so bad for the two spectators shot, one died, shot in the head and the other is in serious condition.

My son called me almost immediately to let me know. He was texting with a friend that was in the crowd. He told me the person who died that was in the crowd wasn't shot but rather suffered a heart attack. I haven't been able to confirm any of this at this point.
An emergency room physician was with the person in the crowd. He had blood all over his shirt and said the person was shot in the head and there wasn’t much he could do to help him. Now, the second person could have had a heart attack but one was definitely shot in the head.
I hope President Trump's security detail is increased, especially considering the vile rhetoric against him. And RFK, Jr. should be receiving Secret Service protection as well. God bless and protect the US, and the whole world.

We’ve had some terrible murders in Australia lately 😞 ... one man barricaded seven children and a woman in a house and set it on fire and hindered emergency crews from accessing the building ... I am an older person and I have never seen so much violence in the world as there has been over the last few years ... In my opinion, the world seemed to be a much more peaceful place when Donald Trump was President ... my prayers and thoughts are with the loved ones of the beautiful, innocent soul who lost their life and those injured 🙏🏼
Well said! We did not have a single war or conflict under President Trump. He believes in sitting down and negotiating. War would be a very last resort, but our enemies know Trump means what he says.
Antisocial media… also, that poor family of a mother and her two daughters… the daughter that was going out with the killer met him on an online dating site, so that is yet again relating to antisocial media. They were tied up and tortured for hours before each being murdered with a cross bow, which means the likelihood is that at least two of them saw their family member being murdered. I support Trump because his policies are sound. He got us to be a net energy exporter! That’s huge. This policy eliminates having to go to middle eastern despots, hat-in-hand begging for petroleum. Sealing our southern border is imperative to our survival as a nation. Getting NATO countries to contribute more to their own defense was long overdue. His policies are sound.
