It concerns me some of the comments I already see in this video, it makes me wonder if they even watched it. Don't let the haters get you down Tim, you know in your heart you are being honest and true to God's word.
Republican, Democrat, Independent...whatever. We are all Children of God. Nothing should be added or taken away from the Bible. I agree with you there Tim. Not a Bible I personally would own; but as always I thank you for your time.

Where we stand now determines where we stand then but I like to think there is no such things as non-believers just not right now believers. All I can do as a Christian is keep spreading the good news and gospel. Sorry for my poor wording I forget dissent and discourse is preferred in this day and age. We would rather tear each other apart then lift one another up. We would rather be unforgiving then understanding.

As a Canadian, I enjoyed your initial balanced view of this particular Bible. It seems to have attracted polarizing views that are based primarily on people's political identity. The hate-fuelled "us" versus "them" rhetoric is becoming a world-wide problem. Your final words in today's video re the fruit of the Spirit are a good test of how we should act and speak. Thank you!

Thanks Tim, for following up to answer people’s questions. I agree with you on the general dislike for “patriotic” type Bibles. I think your original review was spot on and find no political motivation behind it. Keep doing what you do.
Keep your head up Tim. Politics, on both sides of the aisle have become a type of religion in our country and you dared criticize someone's idol. When we do that as preachers and pastors people often get upset and respond with vitriol. Which it sounds like you've experienced. You're doing a great job and providing a great service to people. I've bought and not bought certain Bibles based on your reviews. Don't let the naysayers get you down. Also, great reminder regarding Christian behavior and the fruit of the spirit.
The American documents added are not intertwined with God's Word. Also, I own the beautiful "The Word-In-Life Study Bible" Copyright 1996, Thomas Nelson Publishers- NKJV. It is so filled with extras- making it 2455 pages. The extra content-just like the extras in the Bible you just reviewed again, have made no changes to the actual Word. I said in a comment I made earlier that the KJV writers did the best they could to bring us God's Word in a way it could be carried and understood. Versions since then (for the most part) have brought God's Word to a place of somewhat better understanding. However, when I go back to the original Greek-Hebrew-Aramaic, there are great differences that I find in my study time. With that said, I agree concerning the quality- cheap. I have my thoughts about made in China- I think it was, simply because of the quality. I own it- probably would not buy it if I had to do it over- yet some people buy Trump bobble dolls- I buy Bibles. Just saying- Thanks for the updated review-

The 'Power of Impeachment' error is almost positive proof it is printed in a country that is not an English-as-a-first-language country. There's almost no chance that gets missed by an English-speaking editor. (And if it did, she should be fired.)
Really appreciated the way you responded to some of the commenters you apparently have received. I wish some people would remember the golden rule “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. @royalpriest89 going to the added expense of having this Bible printed in the US and then not labeling it "Printed in the USA", is like a Porsche dealer taking all the Porsche badges off his cars before he sells them. It just doesn't make any sense.
That's my thought as well. It's too big of an opportunity to be missed that could not be used as a selling point, if it actually was printed in the USA. Neither on the website nor in the Bible it's being mentioned and taken that the "leather" is not genuine and not mentioned it isn't... makes the lack of mentioning the place of printing all the more suspicious.

Oh, that is a funny error! Just FYI, in typesetting, a fragment of text that falls at the top of the page separate from its paragraph is called a widow. And book designers try to avoid them. It sounds like the typesetter didn’t realize that it was a widow, and thought it was a head.
(I mention it because I know you’re a little bit of a book nerd, and I thought you would enjoy knowing that. Relatedly, a single line that appears at the bottom of the page is called an orphan.)
I really used to love reading the Bible before but we couldn't afford to buy one because we didn't have money. But only now have I heard about that, i like this❤

If anyone has watched you very long they should know you were just being objective about the material makeup of this Bible. It is what it is & as always I think you did a good job reviewing this. As you said we can all agree to disagree on nonessential things. I personally think if you are sticking wholeheartedly to not adding them Bibles should be text only (no presentation page no index, no study Bibles just the scripture then have a company as they do sell a commentary to go with it). I say that as a person who owns many study Bibles, and two “Patriotic Bibles” the two I own simply weave in text & other Christian influences on our founding & history. Much like the C S Lewis Bible weaves in some of his writings & the Spurgeon Bible does. At the end of the day we don’t have to see eye to eye on it all. But people should not be calling into question Tim’s integrity & is hope anyone who has watched him over time truly knows better.
As far as "patriotic Bibles" go, the one I've found that's actually tasteful is the _Faith and Liberty Bible_ from the American Bible Society. It focuses on the impact that the Bible has had on various aspects of American thought without being heavy-handed in its patriotism or dishonest about the range of beliefs (and disbeliefs) among prominent American figures who took inspiration from the Bible.

I know some people who have gotten it and to them it is worth the price. For me it isn't. I think Mr. Wildsmith is doing his thing with the reviews. Giving a review based on quality and materials not on emotion. Would I get a copy? No. But if someone wants to spend the money to get it because they like the idea of it.... thats fine with me
I saw the original video and I honestly believe you gave a fair assessment of the God bless the USA Bible. When you do the closed up we could see the poor quality of the leather, we witness the pages stuck together. We all our political views and those were not discuss at any moment. Great follow up video, I enjoyed the first one, but hadn't heard of any controversy. I enjoyed this video too, and I'm sorry so many people came out against you. Its social media, everyone gets attacked sooner or later by ridiculous claims. Keep reviewing Bibles and ill keep watching, terrific job and I can't wait until your book comes out!
What would Jesus say about adding pages between those faux leather covers? Maybe something like "Render unto Caesar ..." or "My kingdom is not of this world". Or maybe He would refer to those last few paragraphs of Revelation about adding to this book. Or maybe just shake his head sadly like I did when I heard about all this.

I don't think you could be any fairer with this review. I've never seen it up close until today and yes, as a person who loves the quality of Bibles, I can tell that the cover is poor quality and not leather. I agree that nothing should be added to the Bible. They could have just made a quality Bible then added a bonus leather bound booklet of the Constitution, etc., to come along with it. That's how I would have marketed it. Kind of disappointed in Lee Greenwood 🤦🏼♀️
I nominate myself to get the CSB Notetaking Bible for my youth pastor or myself if he doesn't want it. He typically uses the ESV most of the time so I don't know if he'll take it or not; but if I win it I'll be sure to put it to good use because I believe that notetakers are world changers and history makers!!!🕊🔥🙏❤😇
If you like the elegance of the KJV, you would be better served by saving your money and buying a Westminter KJV cross reference with 200,000 cross references. That is a more useful bible than this.
Pretty much agree. I DO NOT like political/patriotic Bibles or those endorsed by certain pastors. I have owned and disposed of such. They are embarrassing. It IS too bad that the quality was horrible, though.
Another great video. I do note that the objective nature of your original review was clear, at least to this years-long fan of your channel. The only point with which I differ is that I do find the omission of the Eleventh through Twenty-Seventh Amendments telling - not (and here I agree with your comments) that this was intentional or rejecting of the substance of any of the Amendments, but that it showed an utter disregard for, and lack of familiarity with, the Constitution of the United States. What use is an incomplete copy of any document? It seems clear whoever put this together just wanted to tuck in some of that patriotism stuff, and didn't even know or care enough to get it right. This does have the simple virtue of showing equal disrespect both to the Holy Bible and to the Constitution of the United States. And now for our fellow fans of the Constitution: the Twenty-Seventh Amendment was ratified on May 7, 1992. Who knows, without looking it up, who wrote the Twenty-Seventh Amendment?
I would suspect that the other amendments were left out because they aren't directly associated with the Founding Fathers in everyone's minds, even though the 11th and 12th Amendments are from the John Adams presidency and should still count. Of course, those two amendments pointed out faults in the original Constitution, and the whole point of this endeavor is to present an uncritical view of the nation's founding. (Thus, the Reconstruction Amendments are certainly too problematic to include: they acknowledge some very serious problems in early American society!)
I will acknowledge from the start that im from the UK so i wont fully understand American patriotism. I think the whole thing, the trump connection and the extra content, is a bit tacky. Add to that poor editing and quality when there are so many quality Bibles, it just looks like a PR stunt. If they quickly bring out a revised version then it would be worth getting the original with the impeachment error as a collectable though
@pkmcnett5649 I don't know in general, I do. I understand the church wanting to make a statement about us being a Christian country, I just don't think our lives reflect that to the world. Our politicians and royal family need to read the bibles that are already published a bit more.

I agree Tim. It's not good bible. I have a 15-dollar bible, bonded leather from Thomas Nelson that could be its twin, but is miles ahead in quality. It originally sold for about 30 dollars, but I picked it up at Ollies for 15.

Thomas Nelson Sovereign collection Bibles are some of the best bang for the buck you can get. Much more value than DT GB the USA Bibles. Nothing against those Bibles I wouldn't buy one tho.
I'm no expert. Having said that, I think that the gilding on the edges of the pages making the pages stick together is reasonably normal. Basically they spraypaint the gild on to the bound pages, to cover up any discoloration/mismatched coloring of pages. However the pages sticking together on the INSIDE, close to the binding, is not normal.

I find it remarkable that you have to prove to some of your viewers that the bad review of the Trump endorsed Bible was not because of politics... Your whole channel has always been about reviewing Bibles and I personally did not hear a single reason to think you had personal political opinions influence the review. It's the exact reason why I'm subscribed to your channel in the first place, lol.
As a french marxist, I like your videos and the honesty you put in it. The Trump Bible video was the first I saw, but it was just the entrance door and I'm very pleased by all the others that I am discovering for a few weeks now ! Like Lenin said: "There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen.”".
My takeaway from your first review was that the bible was a "award or give away" bible with decorated cover and an American theme added. The material value is disappointing. Of course Americans pay more per ounce for a bag of chips than they would for a good steak.

Well, Tim I wholeheartedly agree with you! I felt that those American documents should NOT be in the Bible. America needs to look to the God of the Bible for America. We want His peace and prosperity, but we don't want Him. America needs to repent and turn back to God. NO man or woman will make America great again.
If nothing should be added to the Bible then how do you feel about commentary’s. There tying a man’s words into a Bible. This is a real question and not meant as rude or hateful
I've never said that nothing should be added to the Bible (and I think the verse in Revelation is about adding to the words of Revelation)... I said I don't like this type of content added to it. I'm totally fine with commentary, maps, and study notes that are intended to help people better understand the text.

I don’t personally care about if they add the book to the tail end but I’d never buy it or any Bible with it in there cuz it’s wasted space for what I really care about which is the Bible itself
Tim, I'm happy to hear that no verses have been altered, and nothing new added. But please take a look at Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5 to make sure that the Ten Commandments haven't been removed or redacted. (I'm asking for a friend.)
First let me say that I am not a fan of this type of bible. But lets not forget it is not the only one of its type. The CSB Military bible also includes: "Pledge of Allegiance" "The Star-Spangled Banner" U.S. Armed Forces Code of Conduct U.S. Armed Forces Core Values "How Should a Warrior Pray" and additional articles written by military personnel So lets be fair about WHY we are denouncing this type of bible, and not just because it was endorsed by someone that is politically polarizing to some folks.

I agree with your reviews! I guess if I could point out one thing…is if someone buys the Bible and actually reads some or all of it…. Maybe their life would be enriched! That’s the way I look at it. God wants there to be governments. See Romans 13. Otherwise there would be anarchy. Is it OK to defy the government? Yes. See Acts 5:29. When the law requires you to violate God's commands we must do what is right. Now, off to the voting issue. Let's talk about a big issue. Abortion. Yes, the killing of an unborn human baby under the guise of 'womens' rights', neglecting the babies' rights to life. Typically it is democrats that vote for abortion, and the republicans weigh in on the babies' right to life. There are typically three camps on this. 1) The Silent Group. This group is generally familiar with the Bible's value of life, their internal agreement with Scripture is locked within their fearful hearts. 2) Misplaced Compassion Group. Their misplaced compassion favors situational fears rather than showering mercy on the injustice of abortion, see 1 Corinthians 16:14 and 1 John 4:8. This group typically puts the womens' dreams over the life of the baby. 3) People of the Word Group. This group believes life is worth defending. This group is not fearful of the world's opinion of abortion, instead, theey are concerned with Kingdom values. So, does it matter if you vote democrat, independent or republican? What are your values? What are the values of the person you are voting for and how do they stack up against God's values? That should be your guiding principle.

It reads " And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations." This is no mandate for Christian Nations. Christianity has and always will be a relationship between Christ and us.
