In particular, our Constitution gives our Supreme Court unwarranted power with no way for it to be checked by our legislature or any way for the justices to be removed without an exceedingly difficult process of impeachment, in which conviction requires a 2/3 vote of the Senate. The Supreme Court has been stacked by the previous administration. Our most feasible way to avoid this situation in the future would be for the president and Senate to expand the membership of the Court, so that it will be unlikely for any administration to be able to stack it in such a lop-sided way.
