A correction for MTG, there WERE armed rioters, they were up in the trees! One of them had an AR-15! They couldn't get into the initial event because the mags (The magnetic metal detector things) kept pinging the guns. Security tapes show the people with guns hanging out in trees that day (Revealed at one of the J6 hearings) So while MTG can say she was joking all she wants, there WERE armed people present but they were stopped. Then again what do you call people with sharpened ended flag poles, bear spray/pepper spray and all the other stuff the insurrectionists brought in? They weren't exactly empty handed!

Internal factions or non-state actors don't count.
