Trump's plane is impressive however the uses of each plane are completly different. One is designed specifically for transportation in total luxury. While Air Force One is a flying Whitehouse and Pentagon. So this comparison is like comparing Apples to Pcs.

That's not quite right. "Air Force One" refers to any USAF aircraft bearing the president. If POTUS is on a Navy plane, the callsign is "Navy One" -- you might remember George W Bush flew Navy One on his way to an aircraft carrier. If POTUS is on a Marine craft, it's "Marine One." And, if he's on a private jet, it's "Executive One."

757 is very fast and a great climber. 747 is much heavier, has a high cruising speed, longer range and much larger inside. They are both Boeing products from the era Boeing made great aircraft.

Trump's plane is built for a specific audience which some of us would find gaudy & distasteful, even taking said audience out of the discussion! The question is would I rather fly in a jet that is fully funded by an organisation that while flawed has significant oversight & expertise in running the thing OR would I rather fly in a jet that's funded by an organisation with a track record of being less than honest. (Not suggesting the maintenance crew isn't doing the job, it wouldn't be off the ground if that was the case!)

Don't you think Air Force One is the safer plane to fly in? I think the military will take care of Air Force One to be the safest place for the President to be if there were a conflict. The Trump Plane is a luxurious transport for an American Citizen, I doubt the military would be interested in taking care of it during a conflict. I'm sure Trump has paid to have it very safe unless the luxury part was more important to him than being safe.

It's apples and oranges. One is a luxury private jet that Trump had designed to be an ultra-luxury personal aircraft. The other is the official aircraft of a head of state, which includes things that could never be found on a civilian aircraft. But if Trump's private 757 is so much better, I wish he'd drop out of the presidential race, so he'd never have to worry about flying on AF1, ever again!

I've seen both planes, via videos like this! I would rather fly on Trump Force One over Air Force One, not for the gold lavishness; but I feel on TFO, a person would be treated well, like an actual guest, while on AFO, a layman is highly restricted on the area that he/she can go! This is a great comparison of the 2 planes, but I would agree that TFO would be the better flight!
