Maybe he doesn’t read the Bible. I cannot see him doing that for a couple of reasons. First off the language . . . He would never understand the way it is written. It would be a struggle at best. No he's vain. He doesn't do any work at the resolute desk. But he can sit there and look like he's doing work, when someone needs to take a picture. --- likely, if he does need to actually read something, he probably HAS reading glasses. But he doesn't leave them on when someone says I'm going to take your picture.

My only point was, during the deposition, he could have said "can somebody get me a pair of reading glasses so I can read this out loud." But he's too vain to be recorded on video wearing reading glasses. --- So I also assume he wouldn't want any photos or video taken of him AT the resolute desk wearing reading glasses either. So I assume in this instance, it's more vanity than simply lying. That's all I meant.

I worked in a customer service job. Some customers would say they forgot their glasses, and that's when I'd assume they were illiterate. I can't imagine forgetting my glasses; I wouldn't be able to drive!

Knowing that Donald is functionally illiterate helped me sleep at night while he occupied the Oval Office, the PDB-Presidential Daily Briefing includes the new codes for the "Football" and knowing that he didn't attend the PDB or read the report, I knew he didn't have the current codes. Sometimes being illiterate is a good thing, considering the consequences that could happen.
