I have been cross-examined a lot (as a cop) and have done some cross-examination of others myself. When it comes to criminal cases, cross-examination of state's witnesses is rarely case determinative in favor of the defense. The defendant is usually a bad guy or so accused, and jurors don't like bad guys. Cross-examination of state's witnesses makes less difference than Melber makes it out to be.

The judge's daughter isn't fundraising and making millions of dollars for herself and her family. They're not profiting from her job, aside for her salary. She's fundraising for the Democratic party. She would have done that even if the judge in this case had been someone completely different. The loads of evidence are already in the prosecutors possession in every indicted case. No body has to make up anything. Besides, in all 4 of his major court cases, he was indicted by a Grand Jury consisting of his peers. They moved to indict him, not the prosecutors, not some political hack. Many investigations take a number of years to collect enough evidence to try a case. You can google all about this and get the facts, instead of posting your unsupported comments. Claims are not false if there is the evidence of the deeds to back it up, including witnesses who collaborate the hard evidence. That takes care of the idea "somebody makes something up and then charge the person with a crime."
