Remember when Trump said we should elect him so the US would no longer be represented by a laughingstock? I should have bought some laughingstock before the stock split.
Nope, I don’t remember him saying that. But I do remember how he said that if Hillary was elected, her presidency would be mired by investigations. Lol
That's probably part of it. He does hold grudges. Plus I'm sure he thinks of the windmills as an Obama/Hillary thing and we all know he must compulsively defy anything they're for simply bc they're the enemy in his mind and his followers.
Seth left out the part where Trump this week claimed to Angela Merkel that his father was born in a “very wonderful part of Germany.” Fred Trump was born in New York in 1905.
And his Grandfather was a German draft dogger. He didn't have bones spurs. Instead he got rowing arms syndrome .. This caused him to board a ship to America. He sat by a port hole window flaying his arms the whole journey.
To be fair, he was probably talking about his grandfather. But I wouldn't put it past T to claim "he knows what he was talking about, he was there when it happened".
@co coco well, it is common for people to forget where their father was born. Yep, I just forgot where mine was born, nope, I remember again, well I just forgot again.
Well, those are OG windmills because obviously electricity is a relatively new development in human history; however, definitions evolve over time. Merriam-Webster dictionary says (of windmills): "especially: wind-driven water pump or *electric generator* ."

I like America, hopefully my neighbours will get back to normal once he's out of office, when someone sane is in charge. I remember a political commentator in 2015 mused that a Trump presidency would be like a whitewater rafting trip; those who make it through it are going to have some wild stories to tell their kids one day.
I see parallels to North Korean news anchors and bible-thumping preachers. Are they trying to exploit some sort of zero-day of the human psyche? And if so why isn't it working on all of us?

I edit a children’s magazine. Some of my work is typing up kids’ story submissions, which can be pretty messy, but I’ve gotten good at it. I genuinely wouldn’t be able to transcribe Trump’s speeches if I tried.

The website was founded by Jim Hoft in 2004 to “speak the truth” and to “expose the wickedness of the left.”” mediabiasfactcheck.com/the-gateway-pundit/ I always like to check my sources before posting them as fact. The link you posted is highly partisan and biased. It distorts and lies for the benefit of the right wing. I should remind you that Seth’s routine is a COMEDY ROUTINE and is not meant as a barometer of absolute truth ( but is a good source of stuff to do an independent investigation of).
Ugh... Pirro is back? Everytime a clip of her is on my pets start freaking out. She sounds like a post-apocalyptic cult leader announcing "THE EXECUTION OF THE HERETICS!". She sounds like if Pazuzu from the exorcist possessed a white woman who "Wants to speak to a manager now".
Trump's so obsessed with Hillary, I've long suspected every times he goes after her, that's him metaphorically pulling her pigtails because he like likes her (and because he values his life too much to try and grab her by the p****).
At the beginning, you notice how he explains what he's saying when he says "oranges": he immediately says, "the beginnings ", afterwords. That, to me, says he knows he used the wrong word but can't think of the right one. A clear sign of dementia.
Or... hear me out now... he's just a complete fucking moron. It's so easy to identify words and concepts that smart people around him feed him. It's like listening to a child that learned a new word they repeat over and over again. He doesn't have a mental health issue. He's just stupid. So stupid in fact, people are confusing it with dementia.
Do you really think that Trump would know what a turbine is? He would probably think that you were talking about turbins. And then have some sort of complaint about muslims. We have to get it simple for the stupid people.
Terry W ... Thanks for that! Just looked it up and the full quote is: “A Radical is a man with both feet firmly planted--in the air. A Conservative is a man with two perfectly good legs who, however, has never learned to walk forward. A Reactionary is a somnambulist walking backwards. A Liberal is a man who uses his legs and his hands at the behest--at the command--of his head.” - Franklin D. Roosevelt. ... awesome. We should spread the full quote around.
There's another that can fairly be applied to Trumpists thinking Individual-1 is the best ever "To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States of America.
Anthony Nycholas ... and that is pretty much what Stephen Miller (Trump’s Senior political advisor at the age of 32, not even old enough to be president)said during an interview on Face the Nation. “The powers of the president to protect our president are very substantial and will not be questioned,” Stephen Miller is extreme far right and his views are absolutely horrible to the very fabric of this nation’s ideals. "Continue to worship at the alter (sic) of multiculturalism, and we may come to see that we are participating in the sacrifice of the one culture which binds us all." .... obviously Miller likes to worship at the white Far right Nationalist altar and wants to impose that viewpoint on us all. The irony is that “when his great-grandmother arrived in the US in 1906, she spoke only Yiddish, the historical language of the Ashkenazi Jews of Eastern Europe.” This is like a friend of my son’s in high school that is Mexican-American, joined a White Supremist group and had a Confederate flag in the window of his pickup truck. 🙄
@@mscloudherder329 "Continue to worship at the alter (sic) of multiculturalism, and we may come to see that we are participating in the sacrifice of the one culture which binds us all." That's proof that Miller is the new Sarumon to Trump's Sauron (or maybe the collective far right is the real darkness, and Trump is just the physical manifestation). "One Culture to rule them all, One Culture to find them, One Culture to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them." It would be funny if it wasn't proving more and more to be an apt comparison.

The ironic thing about her "opening statement" schtick is that the moment a real lawyer tried that in a real court, he'd be tackled by the bailiff and possibly charged with contempt of court. You don't get to just yell at people, and it's even worse for someone who calls herself a "judge".

I assume she at least believes some of what she says, so she's evil as well. So yeah, definitely a combination of these things.
Same as Sean Hannity, most presidents wouldn't acknowledge these lunatics, but she knows that she has the attention of a president, which gives her a new level of legitimacy and the opportunity to influence/spread her message to others in a way she never could have hoped for before. All she needs to do to gain/maintain this influence is to double down harder and harder. Basically, Trump's support of these nutjobs has convinced them that their fringe bullshit has become mainstream, and the harder they cheer for the president, the more likely Trump will continue to support them and maintain their relevance.
Please! We have a former "judge" ranting and raving like a senile lunatic and a lunatic ranting and raving like a mad man as a president. What is wrong with this America?

The "oranges" thing is a textbook case of one of the hallmark early signs of Alzheimer's, dysphasia (when you know the right word, but between your brain and your mouth it gets changed for something else without you realizing it until after you've said it).

Just a thought here: I worked as a nurse assistant and then nurse for over twenty years, in long term care. My patients often displayed symptoms of dementia, from mild to severe. Donald Trump repeats the same stories and themes, one liners, and slogans in a way that seems to show a lack of spontaneity and deeper thought.
