I wanted Tim Walz as the pick. I just thought he would click with Kamala Harris and balance the ticket in a way that would not compromise her political positions and values. I also thought that Tim Walz would be very loyal to Kamala and support her at every turn. That's important. She is probably as surprised as anyone that she chose Tim Walz, but that is part of her strength. She is sharp, sharp, sharp and knew what she wanted. She found it in Tim Walz. I think they are going to be a wonderful team in the campaign and hopefully in government.

I got a secret for you, Ari- Most of us Americans ARE folks, are mostly happy, (when we aren't terrified of losing our homes , going hungry or dying from a disease we cant afford the treatment for) and we are tired of being looked down on by the "elite "classes. We like chocolate chip cookies, corn dogs and OUR dogs. And we LIKE our neighbors, and want THEM to have what THEY need, as well. That ADDS to our happiness. AND, we like Progressive policies!
