Remember when Trump, back in 2016, said he was so rich he would never ask for or need money? We waited less than a week and then never stopped asking for money.
Trump's former attorney general, Bill Barr - "He (Trump) is a consummate narcissist. And he constantly engages in reckless conduct... He will always put his own interests, and gratifying his own ego, ahead of everything else, including the country's inter-ests. Our country can't, you know, can't be a therapy session for you know, a troubled man like this."
I think the NABJ interview may be Trump's Biden debate moment. He really is a parody of an old, racist, out of touch geriatric. His edgelord energy is gone. He just comes across as sad. Like an aging pitcher who's fastball has left him but is convinced that it will come back so long as he keeps lobbing 50mph rainbows over the plate.
In any fair universe, we would be replaying that interview for months and Trump would lose a point in the polls every week. I'm not holding my breath to see evidence that the universe is fair.
He is doubling down on his old trics, but with a more narrow repertoire just as ayone with cognitive decline would. And yesterday he was talking to his MAGA crowd, no one else. That is why he doubled down and loses support in the rest of the population.
The moment he leant across and picked up the bottle of water from the first journalist (sorry, can't remember her name but she was great!) and tightened the lid was hilarious. What a petulant childish thing to do!😂😂
Covid was a virus that swept the planet that originated in China. Biden was president for most of Covid anyway... What's that got to do with Trump??? You got Trump Derangement Syndrome 😂😂😂😂😂😂
How do black in maga senate feel about Trump now??? Just shows Trump is about himself. How much more does Trump have to do or say to prove that to his supporters.
His supporters approve of anything he does by dent of the fact that HE does it. Nothing will ever prove anything to them contradicting their support for him. It doesn’t matter what he does. We know this by now. Also some of these folks have been defending their support for him for so long that they have an internalized sunk cost fallacy essentially and cannot reconcile their past support for him by going back on it.
Oh, Trump said something racist against Harris? That was shocking in 2016, but it's stale now, & he is getting more & more boring by the day. The old man needs to get better & newer material.
Here's the interesting part. If things were to go well for him he'd take the credit, but if things were to go badly he'd blame it on the previous president so regardless of what happens, in his mind (or at least the way he addresses the public) he somehow always wins. Complete lack of responsibility.
Trump's mosogyny and racism came through loud and clear. I am still amazed that there there are Women for Trump and Blacks for Trump organisations. Turkeys for Christmas springs to mind.
I suspect some of those turkeys have a distinctly sour taste in their mouths right now. Mixed metaphor here but, I also imagine there are those pinching their noses too, so as not to notice the stench too much.
Well coming from a convicted criminal awaiting sentencing and looking at possible years in prison (and STILL HE SHOWS NO REMORSE!)...I can see why "everything is terrible" for Trump.
Remember, the young overwhelmingly are voting for Harris. And since Trump won in 2016 there have been 32 million new voters coming of age. And 16 million people over 60, half were Trump voters, have passed away. 🤷🏼♀️ Demographics are key.
They are avoiding copyright issues. They likely would be fine. But there is no guarantee, since they appeared to play the whole ad, without commentary throughout. NOTE: provide commentary throughout the entire thing is the best way to protect themselves for a Fair-Use defence.
@@creativelyengineered4993 yeah that occurred to me too, it's just hard to wrap your head around the fact that we're talking about ads. Why wouldn't we get the benefit of fair use, don't they want to people to see the ads, isn't that the point? Copyright laws are weird
I think Kamala and Tim should both appear on some of the top political online RU-vid Livestreaming shows - even a couple that aren't all the way at the top, be choosy, they have a pretty good social media network, I know they met with a lot of them at the White House..
Yet Putin invaded Ukraine the first time in 2014 when Obama was POTUS and then waited until Joe Biden was POTUS to invade Ukraine. Putin didn't mess with America when Trump was POTUS. But you keep playing that long-debunked Russia-collusion lie.
@5:30 And Kamala is new at just the right time ... with less than 100 days, there's not much time for the newness to wear off. And, in 100 days, Ttump will _still_ be old.
I am a centrist since I abandoned "socialism" years ago, hence like to listen to proposals from all sides and evaluate them, but many comments like those made by "Times Radio" are so one sided that they remind me of the Russian propaganda I heard when I was first in Poland in the '80s and later Czechoslovakia in the early '90s. I do not, wish, like many, to stop following the likes of "Times Radio", since I prefer to carry on listening to how all sides think ..... however I do not consider Biden nor Kamala to be the persons that the USA needs at this moment.
I assume you put socialism in quotes because you're using the usual, incorrect definitions of the right wing -- and of some centrists for that matter, though not of my own. You believed capitalism should be abolished but have now changed your mind? Or have you actually decided that social-caring is wrong, that social democracy (NOT democratic socialism) shouldn't exist? Your take on Times Radio being like Soviet propaganda is perverse, unbelievable. It's a discussion of reality from a particular perspective for people intelligent and informed enough to understand that guests have a personal take on what is happening, as do hosts on talk radio, as is the case with all political discussion.
@@paulpvhl1930 NO! ..... I believe in democracy and free enterprise now, having lived in communist countries as well as a so-called socialist one (real socialism generally becomes corrupted by politicians, making it more like communism, yet maintaining the original name, so that it would appear to be less bad).
@@brianm7278 The problem of trying to keep comments brief can create misunderstandings, and there is also the problem of which language to use. I have often noticed the different way that those in the USA express themselves from the British way. Have thus tried to modify the original hoping that it will be less "muddy" to YOU.
@@gianfrancobenetti-longhini8192 "I do not consider ... Kamala to be the [person] that the USA needs at this moment." So you think the criminal, predator, and serial liar trump is the person the USA needs right now? (Yuck!) There's only two choices, that's the reality. Your reply doesn't answer my query. I take what you wrote makes you a follower of the Chicago school of economics; Steve Denning wrote a useful article in Forbes, June 26, 2013, called, "The Origin Of 'The World's Dumbest Idea': Milton Friedman", discussing why this (your?) form of capitalism is such a failed principle; it's available online. As Sen. Sanders says, it has led to the most massive capital inequalities ever seen, with more to come -- just as Marx predicted more than a century ago. Doesn't mean Marxist economics is right or better, just that the system they were setting up way back then was very obviously going to result in the state of affairs we see today. A well managed -- stewarded -- market because of intelligent, citizen-oriented, liberal laws in place is the only kind of capitalism I believe in, and that requires the end of corporate legal person-hood that allows the kind of abuses we see today in modern economies; this is something we're not likely to see anytime soon given modern democracies are so controlled by "free market" capitalists. In this reality Kamala is a great choice.
I think you've done a good job exploring the anti trump opinion and you have convinced me Harris will probably win. But I think it's a good idea if you reach out to pro trump commentators so your viewers can get a more balanced view, lest we have a Hillary Clinton moment again. Thanks.
Don't you mean a pathological liar who's poor Covid response helped the US death toll exceed that of WW2 losses and who gave a tax cut to billionaires, adding 2 Trillion to the US national debt. Also, let us not forget the convicted felon on 34 counts and his attempt to influence the Georgia vote results coupled with his refusal to return classified documents and his attempt at an insurrection. His continued election denial, his racism and his misogyny. I could go on.
