The republicans voted down the funding for the Secret Service. It was the Felon Don who wanted open air rallies because it is harder to show the size of the crowd in a wall-free environment. The press was showing all the empty seats in buildings. Also it is cheaper to hold open air rallies and Felon Don is cheap.

i had watched a vid that had a forensic investigator they went thru frame by frame and sound bit by bit..the second story window of the building behind the shooter was open the whole time..the echo in the vid seemed to sound as if it may have come from inside a bldg. along with the shooters shots.

The poor kid was the distraction! He was lead to believe he was needed for good reason, whatever that might have been. He was misled, i feel. I definitely think there was someone else. SS, maybe? The man that was killed was an accident. They didn't think the kid would actually shoot anyone.

When I saw the information about the "shooter", my 30+ work with atypical students as a teacher and later Counselor, my immediate gut level response was "ohhh he could have been one of my kiddos at school". I realized he had fallen in with the wrong people, and had a good intelligence on many levels but not in the ability to understand or negotiate relationships and people.

I live smack dab in the middle between Butler County fair grounds and Bethel Park so it felt more personal than when these things happen elsewhere. And it’s that young boy who by all accounts was fairly intelligent and had plans to attend Robert Morris University in September and whose life is now over before it even began that I keep feeling for and thinking about. I will never condone violence in any form and totally hate guns but still feel for this kid.

Trump's camp set up the event they are to pay for the event and for any extra police that are required. ex-presidents are assigned a set of Secret Service that follow them everywhere. Trump's Camp is to pay for any police coverage they need.

The shooter was certainly a poor shot. Donald is a large person and would be hard to miss by anyone remotely capable. I feel sorry for the poor kid. I don't think the people who talked him into this let him think for a moment that he would die. They probably fed him a line about being whisked away and given a new identity.

This is the first time I've seen cards come really close to my intuitive insight regarding this incident. I morn the loss of the young man (the shooter), because at 20, he was easily recruited. Now he will never have an adult life because some corrupt organization plotted the demise of 34 count felon. And this 20 year old fell victim to their plan. Ellie, could billionaire Eric Prince, the head of the Blackwater mercenary army, be responsible for the planning of this shooting? He has the background and experience to orchestrate it, including scrubbing the shooter's internet presence. (Prince has connections to the digital propaganda machine known as Cambridge Analytica.) I also question if Trump was in fact the target. What Trump badly needed at the time was a bombshell event that garnered him media attention and sympathy followed by donations. It's been pointed out by more than one person that the timing of this shooting, just 2 days before the RNC convention, was perfect for Trump who had been slipping in the polls. Could it be that the shooter's instructions were to fire randomly into the crowd? Moreover, prior to the Butler rally, Trump posted on social media that, in an hour, "all hell will break loose." Did he know to expect something that wouldn't harm him so be shocked when he was hit by shrapnel? Thank you so much for this reading - it fits what I think may have really happened.

I love your style of analytical thinking and intuition, Ellie. There are so many things about this assassination attempt that seem “off”. Lots of questions, which you touched on in your reading. I’m curious why the FBI were so quick to rule out another person’s involvement in this assassination attempt? I’m not sure how they could have come to that conclusion so early in the investigation. And surely the lack of an internet presence in a young person would be considered suspicious to FBI investigators as well? There’s just so much we don’t know.

Personally, I still think someone on the right, with their own agenda, even just a couple of people, are behind that attempt. They are upset it failed. Having the same feeling of everyone as to why and how, trump is not in prison and/or keeps surviving like a cockroach. I also think these very people could likely bring their own greed and hatefulness to American democracy. More like a photo op and distraction from Pro, 2025. donnie was way to prepared. The blood did not move once he came up, No dripping. Coagulated way too quickly for an ear wound. They bleed profusely. And the ss agents left him completely open as a target...the short woman in front?? Bending down to pick up a maga hat-- maybe as a souvenir? He loves optics--- this was what he wanted. He golfed the next day without that odd square thing attached to his ears.

Thank you Ellie !! I’ve thought from the time of the incident that the 20 yr old was hired and given directions and support to carry out the shooting ! The only difference I thought was that the heritage was behind it using the 20 yr old and that he was to shoot towards trump but into the crowd , as a warning to trump that he had to choose Vance as his VP because Vance is a solid supporter of 2025, and trump had been told by heritage to choose Vance but trump had refused ! But they needed trump to get Vance in office and then the useful idiot could be disposed of and Vance become president and carry out their mission to over take our country !! Well at least some of what I was thinking seems to be correct, but not the main part ! I saw a video made by a secret service shooter, so he claimed, that said he had his rifle on that shooter for more than 3 minutes asking for permission to shoot, he said they waited so long and would never give the order. Now I can't find that video anywhere.

@susan6064 The local LE first noticed him walking the grounds with a measuring scope used for sh00ting. He was actually measuring distances. The local LE alerted SS. They watched for a bit & did nothing. Smdh. Very suspicious, imo.

I feel very sure Trump was not the target. he was expecting something - he posted "All will break loose in an hour" before that rally - but he expected to be unharmed which is why he was shocked when shrapnel hit him in the ear.

Just want to mention a couple of things about garland. He wasn't hired until mid spring of 2021, so it wouldn't be 4 years until mid spring of 2025. Also, since cannons decision, special prosecutors are now an iffy proposition. Garland allows no leaks in the doj, and he actually has a darn good record of resolving high profile cases. Im not trying to be offensive, i highly respect you, but i pretty much have faith in him.

Days earlier, Director Wray had said they weren’t ready to say one way or another.
