Communication breakdowns with local law enforcement hampered the Secret Service’s performance ahead of a July assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, according to a new report that lays out a litany of missed opportunities to stop a gunman who opened fire from an unsecured roof. A five-page document summarizing the Secret Service report’s key conclusions finds fault with both local and federal law enforcement, underscoring the cascading and wide-ranging failings that preceded the July 13 shooting at a Butler, Pennsylvania, campaign rally where Trump was wounded in the ear by gunfire.

The Butler Police laid out radio receivers for the Secret Service so communications between Police and Secret Service could be maintained, BUT the Secret Service didn’t/wouldn’t take them. Why is this information always discarded by Secret Service and FBI? It was the Police and public who saved the day. And a Police SWAT guy who fired at Krooks and prevented him firing any more shots.

If you listen to him again he is not blaming locals. Rowe assumed the leadership of the Secret Service after the incident. He was being extremely patient with the questions, many of them essentially asking the same thing.

No accountability! Nobody fired. No supervisors taking responsibility for an open roof. Not even a fallguy. Their mission requires secrecy. Their disciplinary process requires transparency!!! This is how they avoid accountability, by conflating the two. I want to know who failed. I want to know their name and that they are fired and never able to fail again!!! We need the name so they can be interviewed by the press and investigated... 1) to make sure it wasn't on purpose. 2) to make sure they're not a scapegoat and 3) to make sure they are not being bribed to be the scapegoat.
