A buddy of mine has a covered hole 10 feet deep around his, already had someone fall in, he then proceeded to sue for trespassing, destruction of property, vandalism, ect.

Happened to me too. Someone cut down my $45 trump sign on an overpass in New Hampshire. The metal zip ties prevented the theft the first attempt. I Should have placed an empty wooden box with wires running out and all around the sign.

As someone who grew up in a liberal Democrat household in NYC in the Eisenhower-Kennedy era, I was raised to believe that the Democrats (and liberals generally) were the party of tolerance for opposing viewpoints, free speech and civil liberties. Sadly, it has now become painfully apparent that exactly the opposite has been true since at least 2008 (Obama's first term), and that things are getting worse, not better, in that respect. One small example among many: Recently I researched how many times conservative speakers have been prevented from appearing or speaking on college campuses by left-wingers vs how many times the converse occurred (liberal speakers shut down by conservative students and/or groups). The result (as of a year or two ago) was lopsided: Far-left liberals had silenced conservative speakers on college campuses dozens of times, while liberal speakers had been blocked only twice - - one of those times by an even farther left-wing group (whose gripe was that the speaker was not radical enough), not by conservatives. Check for yourself. Against this background, it is the height of hypocrisy - - and highly disingenuous - - for liberals to assert that Trump/Republicans/conservatives are an existential threat to democracy. It is the left, not conservatives, who promote and enforce the cancel culture; suppress the speech of those they don't agree with; and demonize their political opponents. That is a far greater threat to the viability of American democracy than anything conservatives have done.

In 2020 I placed a Trump sign in front of my vacant house, 3 times someone drove up in my yard and ran over it. I replaced it everytime. The last time a neighbor, who was sitting it back up for me if I didn't get to it, asked me if he could set it up with little nails on both sides. I said "sure". Found out the person doing it was a neighbor I had bought tires for previously because she couldn't afford them. This time I didn't offer to help. She was in the wrong.
Let me go ahead and say..she didn't ask me for help to buy new tires, im really not sure what I would have done. She would have had to admit it was her driving up in my yard. This sign wasn't by the road it was by my front porch!
