As a Canadian who knew nothing about American politics 9 years ago I like the ticket . What I like best is the republicans are stuck with donOLD (mostly because he won’t step down) and donOLD is stuck with Vance (mostly because donOLD can’t admit he is wrong about anything). So I am really hopeful that Kamala and Tim are elected so I can stop watching American politics and go back to ignoring it all.

I personally have friends who grew up in 2 parent, abusive homes. Sadly, they have issues with self confidence, self worth and at least in one case, substance abuse. 😔 My parents split when I was very young, my mom raised two sons and me on her own. We didn't always have the best of everything, however, we had her love and attention. Even when she worked long hours, as a nurse, to support us, we knew that she was just a phone call away. My brothers, being older than I, have passed on. Their children and grand children are healthy, happy, good people. I have 3 children of my own, (we also have cats) a husband and live a middle class life. So, yeah, "jd", staying together, abusive marriage or not, is, "Always Best", for the sake of the, "children" . BTW, "jd's" parents had some Real Issues, and vance has had several different surnames. Should his parents have stayed together, no matter what? 🤔 Additionally, mr 'family values', told his young son to, "shut the Hell up for one second about Picachu!" Why, because he, vance, was on a phone call with 🍊. We know this because, "jd", laughed and bragged about it in an interview 😮. I know young children can get really into their latest toy or show, and want to talk about it, a lot. So, knowing this, if an important call is about to happen; why not direct the child to a diffetent room or to his siblings and let them know that a special call will be taking some of the parent's time, just for now. But, that they are thinking about the child and will be back ASAP. Go back to the othet room, close the door and have the call? 🤔 Clearly, this, "fellow", has not the ability to handle high level reasoning nor any empathy. 😮 But, he thinks that he is ready for the pressure cooker that is public life in DC, to handle the duties of President, if the situation warrents it, when he can't juggle a phone call and his 8 year old son!?
