It's the attorney's responsibility to object. An attorney can't claim that his failure to object resulted from a fear of looking too defensive. If you fail to object, you waive your objection. That' basic trial law.

If it's not "the felony" then it's statute of limitations barred. That automatically makes any "conviction" legally invalid, null and void. If it is "the felony" then they've not actually said WHAT "felony" it actually is that's the underlying offence. They also appear to be purporting to enforce a federal law as state prosecutors. They do NOT have the jurisdiction to do that. They're not even trying to enforce a state statute which duplicates a federal law, such as has been the case with Texas and border enforcement recently. They are purporting to directly enforce a federal law. Again makes any "conviction" under those circumstances legally invalid, null and void. That doesn't even cover the mistrial creating prejudical testimony of the extortionist Daniels, the extremely dodgy voir dire of the jury, the illegal and unconstitutional gag order or the fact that prosecution witnesses have utterly blown any "case" out of the water already otherwise! These fools do not care about the massive damage they are doing to the rule of law, due process or getting a fair trial. They hate Trump and want to "get him". They are willing to ride roughshod over everything else to "get him". There is a VERY strong case for treating them in exactly the same way to teach them a necessary lesson on why those protections exist. This judge and these prosecutors are literally no better than Andrey Vyshinsky or Roland Freisler. They have as much respect for the principles of justice and the rights of defendants as those infamous show trial conveners. They all deserve extremely long prison sentences for fundamental civil rights violations.
