I hear a genuine question here, so I’ll try my best. As Americans, we know that our congress has been divided and hasn’t been able to agree on a legislative approach to immigration. Our federal laws on immigration are outdated and do not reflect a human approach to the crisis of climate refugees we are facing. Our legal path to citizenship is flawed and abuses and dehumanizes undocumented workers (which as shared above, is an important part of our economy). Finally, the big critique expressed here is the authoritarian and fascist approach Trump has promised to take.
