Hi Friends,
This week I wanted to share my thoughts on the fact that Joe Biden and Donald Trump have both agreed to debate. This comes right before Joe Biden has taken what some would call a 180 stance on the border and taking more extreme measures to ebb the flow of people seeking asylum and attempting to immigrate to the United States. It was also agreed to before Trump was found guilty of a 34 felony counts in his New York hush money trial.
It’s a wonder that the two plan to debate with all they have going on and the fact that most Americans have their heels dug for their side regardless of policy or promises. Trump also agreed to the debate in spite of conditions his supporters say are unfair to him like cutting the mic if he goes over his time which is something everyone expects him to do.
Polls show that even with Trump’s recent convictions numbers so far have only swung by 7 percent among the Republican Party in favor of Biden. What they will discuss and if either of them can be believed remains to be seen but it’s for sure going to make for terrible television.
