👍 I left the GOP and registered as an Independent the day Trump got the nomination in 2016. The GOP needs to take a severe loss this an probably a few more election cycles to have a reckoning and reform itself. For now I am voting for Democrats in national elections and carefully vetting any local candidates for any MAGA ties.

Wait until 2028 and run a decent candidate in that election. Biden may not even finish his term because of his age. Inflation is not caused by the US President. It's a global phenomenon and the US is not as badly affected as other Western countries. You have the right to be a Republican, but you need a normal candidate. More than 30 former members of the Trump administration (2016-2020) said that he is unfit for the job and dangerous for the country. This is not one or two frustrated people, but more than 30.
