Think that first view of the cathedral was taken from Treyew Road? One of my relations ran Jenkins fruit and veg shop on King St then later Chimes Cafe round the corner on High Cross. Used to pray for wet days in August days when visitors came into town instead of going to the beaches!
Great film. Thanks for uploading. I remember the Queens Silver Jubilee street party was the first time I ate cheese (and liked it), and the first time I drank beer! Love the cars in this era. Petty unreliable but full of character.
On one of the sidestreets in Falmouth there is a huge, famous figurehead of a woman that has been there for many years. The figurehead is outside a shop and displays a sign that says "NOW OPEN". My dad posed for a picture next to the figurehead with the sign pointing to his pants :D
Hi, The piece of music that I used for this one came from a company called SmartSound ( www.smartsound.com/ ) the name of the album is "Guitar Shop" and the track is called "Bountiful" the name of the composer is Thomas Gerard Washatka. Hope this helps.
@@martynm.449 All the cars are English and they are driving on the left side of the road. How many Cortinas, Vauxhalls and Austin Princesses has anyone ever seen in America? There's a flower garden with "ER". I'm astounded anyone would even think it's the US (though I do know that Americans can be mightily challenged by geography).
