Can I ask why you didn't like him before? Apart from that time he punched his boy's head clean off for questioning an order, he's always been one of my favorites along with The Khan and Girly Man who also aren't that popular compared to the other loyalists. Lol maybe it's me. 😂

@@seanyoung9014 it mainly came down to how he handled certain situations with his legion. Namely that whole Luther incident that got him in a coma to begin with. There’s also the whole nuking Konrad out of macragge situation. Look I know it’s kurze but you are literally risking losing your only real ally in the heresy that is even willing to help you. And it would’ve been the case if he didn’t call out a certain aspect of konrad’s vision. Now in the modern day however, the lion is fantastic. He admits that he failed and made some horrible mistakes and in my point of view. That’s some of the best things anyone can do. I know it may seem really weird but that’s just how I saw it. And it may also have something to do with my lack of 40k knowledge at the time Edit: there’s also the fact that some primarchs like Vulcan just appealed to me more

@@theskullboy8700 Thanks for the explanation and I definitely don't think you're wrong about any of that, especially the Kurze thing which I'd actually forgotten about somehow. He had a certain lack of insight into how other people would naturally feel about things which was really illustrated in how he handled Luther and also giving those DAT weapons to Perty as if he wasn't the most butthurt primarch in the whole setting.

​@@seanyoung9014 if you had read Angels of Darkness by Gav Thorpe before reading any of the HH books written around them, you may have a different take on The Lion.

@@TwentyTwoHya When you get to Dorn, go for Baldermort’s vids (It’s two episodes from memory). I always thought Rogal was a bit dull, but Balders storytelling made me cry big ol man tears like I was listening to Johnny Cash sing Hurt for the first time.

Vulcan would disagree with you

@@Lost7one maybe, but Vulcan gives me something I don't get from any of the other Primarchs. With all the other you fight because it's your duty, or because you have no other choice. When I read about Vulcan I see a leader that I want to fight for and would give me hope for a better future, even if it was a false hope. The manner in which a war is fought can be just as important as the outcome.
