"Trust in the Lord": BYU Women's Conference 2024 Theme Video

The 2024 BYU Women’s Conference theme is “O Lord, I have trusted in thee, and I will trust in thee forever” (2 Nephi 4:34). Like Nephi, we can confidently place our complete trust in the Savior who offers us peace, healing, and strength (see John 14:27, 3 Ne 17:7 and Isaiah 41:10). We hope that the theme of the conference will resonate with you through the uplifting sessions, inspiring music, and spirit on campus.

¡Hermoso video! Me hizo recordar mi propia experiencia. Ese día aprendí más del amor del Padre Celestial, que Él está al pendiente de mí, y de cuan valientes y prestas están las hermanas de la Sociedad de Socorro al escuchar los susurro del Espíritu Santo y acudir al rescate. Hace más de 20 años mi familia pasaba por un momento económico muy difícil y no teníamos alimentos en casa para comer y la vergüenza no nos dejaba pedir ayuda. Solo orábamos al Padre Celestial por un milagro. A la hora del almuerzo, cuando estábamos resignados a que no comeríamos, nuestra maravillosa presidenta de la Sociedad de Socorro llegó a casa con un delicioso sanchocho (una sopa con distintas carnes y vegetales), estaba caliente, recién hecha, y estaba tan suculenta que no he vuelto a comer algo tan sabroso como la de ese día. Sé que el Señor cuida de nosotros, que Él vela porque estemos bien, y responde nuestras oraciones a menudo mediante otras personas. Me siento muy agradecida de la organización de la Sociedad de Socorro, y de esas maravillosas hermanas que están siempre dispuestas a acudir cuando el Señor llama.
