I'm literally obsessed with this sweater. It's one-of-a-kind. 😍Seeing your creations inspired me to learn crochet. If I may add, my aunt is a very skilled crocheter. At the age of 80, she's still unstoppable.
This is excellent. You have given me confidence to trust in my own ability to create freehand without following a pattern. You are very talented and inspirational.
Freehanding is so much fun and so worth trying out, I recently freehanded a little Joe cool(snoopy) patch and I haven’t figured out what to attatch it to but it was so enjoyable tinkering and toying with different methods and ideas to try and get the look I wanted
I keep seeing such sweaters on Pinterest and I really love them. Always wanted to make one but lacked the courage. Seeing someone actually doing it makes it feel achievable! Indeed you just need to trust the process
Fabulous looking sweater. Also this would be a perfect 'side project'. something you can put down and work on in between other things, because it's so random. I'm starting one this week. Hope to finish in time for sweater weather.

Henri I always love your patterns because you don’t over explain every tiny detail of what you do, so you leave lots of things open for us to decide for ourselves and figure out! It’s a great way to learn more about crocheting independently rather than just following a pattern to the letter. I am going to make this to hopefully use up my massive collection of leftover yarn(I still have old yarn balls laying around from like a decade ago😬)

Trust the process. I ❤ your idea of, ‘trust the process’ for this sweater tutorial. This tutorial makes much more sense, than the last tutorial I watched that said the same thing. Unfortunately, I had to frog the whole project, because the vest I was trying to make, was just not fitting. Thank you for this tutorial, this just may work better.

Awesome! Being able to visualize and then create the fabric is a wonderful gift. Have you tried doing a single crochet around a cuff or other area and use front and back post stitches to create a ribbing? I find it the easiest in the round and it works well.
I have started crocheting about two days ago! And I'm very excited to make a sweater like this. I seems super freeform and achieve able.! I ma y also make a matching hat using this method. Thanks for the inspiration!
Hi Henri! Like it a lot! I usually think of creating stuff like working with mud or painig. If something is missing it's just to fill in. Lovely sweater! Is it heavy? My croched thing often turn out a little bit too heavy. Never mind - your sweater is awsome! Thank you! :)
I am really impressed by your creativity, although your crochet style is totally different from mine I love your idea. Great job. You are also inspiring in another way.
