Trusting God When You Don't Understand 

Happy Birthday Kim! I needed this and I sent it to my eldest daughter who is very impatient how her life is going. To make a very long story short she was diagnosed with epilepsy at 16 and was told she could never drive so most of her late teens early 20s she was so lacking in confidence and didn’t do all the things her friends did.. no driving she chose not to date because she was embarrassed to bring up her condition but God had a plan 4 years ago we were blessed when she underwent brain surgery to remove the infected areas which caused seizures💕💕another blessing is her hospital stay and surgery were fully paid for💕🙏🏾she will still have to be on one medication for life but when she went back to her doctor he said her peripheral vision is good so at 31 she got her license a month ago!! Where her impatience comes in she said she needs a car NOW.. she needs a full time job NOW she wants a place of her own NOW (she lives with us which is fine it’s expensive in California)she wants a boyfriend/husband NOW🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️I think she feels as if she has to catch up she tells me her high school friends are married with kids…she’s NEVER had relations which I am glad. She’s Christian loves the Lord but sometimes she cries out of frustration when things aren’t moving fast enough…. I remind her of how I prayed how we both prayed for Gods guidance for her surgery it took a few years because she was afraid God took care of everything I tell her sometimes God isn’t saying NO He is saying WAIT. She understands but her flesh is making her antsy and impatient. I loved this massage so much! I have gone through a simular experience just a few days ago. I was wrestling whit my anxhious thaughts when this very same verse came to me: "but when I am afraid I will put my trust in God." it's a true comfort to know that we all experience simular times of uncertainty and yet even dough we can't perceive his nearness we still have this sense of knowing that God is there. His word is a constant comfort even when God seems to be nowhere in sight. I try to always remember that all things work out for the good of those who love him and that he knows exactly what we need to grow and how much pressure we can handle. One time I remember I was walking in a store and I was thinking about how my life has been filled whit so Manny difficulties and in the midst of all that frustration I turned to God and asked "why does everything have to be so difficult and complicated for me. Why does it seem like trouble keeps following me around." I was so discouraged and than my gaze fell on a notebook and on it was written "stars cannot shine whitout darkness". It hit me than that in order for us to grow closer to God and mature spiritualy hardship is necessary. Think about it. When is God's glory most visible? It's not in the daytime but in the midst of utter darkness. The dark is necessary for us to truly know and experience God's goodness, his charecter and glory. This is how we get to know him and learn to reflect his nature. So even dough the darkness is thick and we cannot make sense of anything if we keep watch like the watchmen on the wall waiting on Him and refuse to fall asleep in the midst of hardship than we will have the privilege of beholding the glory of the sun split the sky when dawn finaly arives.

I was having a tough time. The Lord led me back to this video. He also dropped the Cling bootcamp on my heart. I'm thankful for being at a place where I am ready to let go, let God and trust him with all that I let go of so that I can cling to Him again. Because I do want this relationship.

Oh yes, I know this season all too well. After 81/2 months with no job as a nurse, the Lord gave me a interview two days ago. I got the job and of course because I waited on Him, it was everything and more than what I had hoped for! Trust Him. He is faithful even when we don’t understand what He is doing.Happy Birthday my sister. ❤

Know that the GREAT Lord LOVE'S you SUPER much!!!!!! I love people who LOVE the LOrd!! The Lord is all around us and everywhere. He hears us, knows what each and all of our struggles are. Thank you for sharing your moments of wrestling with the Lord, I can't even imagine how crucifying those moments must be for you, but sharing them also encourages and strengthens us in our struggles as we endeavor to experience a deeper walk w God. We know we inherit the promises through faith and patience, yet timing I believe will always be a mystery for us as stated in Acts chap. 1:4-7....it's not for us to know the times and seasons the Lord has set by his authority...you will receive power and be a witness..time is so important in that endeavor. I can't identify with your struggle but I'm feeling you sis. I'm sure he has something in store for his glory. You are a bright light for us all, your labor is never in vain. It's not by might..nor power.. he's doing a great work in you!

Happy Birthday Kim! God bless you so much. I felt this was to me directly. I am in a very similar situation. I thought the Lord confirmed to me to leave my home country and start life in a new country. I left my family, my job amd everything behind. And I was thriving and comfortable and successful. I start somewhere new and I'm alone, struggling and not knowing what the future holds and if I did really hear God and wondering what all of this is. I have wondered when He would plant me in a church home, when I can teach again, when I can mentor again. Infact I thought of you. It is my dream to have a ministry that draws young women to Christ. And I wonder when? I have never been so scared to enter 2023 because I will be a year older and I feel as though I have made no progress in my life. I'm still single andwondering what the Lord is doing in that area as well. I need strength to trust the Lord.
