Oh that was great! I love the story of the sister who lived in the time of prophet Dawud. Yes, Allah really is just. I have seen that in my own life. Please let's all continue to believe in the God of Justice, our Magnificent God.

You said something like "Allah is just, even if I don't understand even if I don't live to see it, Allah is just". The life that I'm going through, alhamdullilah. I keep wanting to complain, it's such a strong urge and honestly I do a lot....I want to just complain so loud of social media and everywhere to everyone. Sell my pain for "likes" and "shares" and somehow is some celebrity shaykh calls me a good person for my "tragedies" that means I'll be good , too, with Allah swt. I want everybody to know because that way everybody would understand, right? Everyone would cut me slack? And sometimes I do fall into it, the whining, a lot of times, astaghfirallah and the funny thing is Allah is so merciful, he does NOT reward me when I do. I don't get famous or go viral for my "tragedies", no body really even cares too much. I'm almost glad though because if that behavior was rewarded in this world, I would be encouraged to remain a victim. But in reality, all my "tragedy" paved the way for me to make my shahadah a few years ago. All this continuing "tragedy" keeps me Muslim today alhamdullilah. Thank you for your wonderful khutbah! I usually do not post any comments but just listen. But this particular speech made me to post the comment. I do not have anything against this brother. Alhamdulliah for his strong belief and knowledge. I think this brother a bit aggressive and got a little excited. I do feel sorry for Syria, Somalia, Yemen, etc. I pray for them because that's all I can do. When this brother said that they deserved because they had night clubs and other places of entertainment I was shocked. He doesn't feel sorry. How could you say that??? I would see you holding your kids and waiting until they would drop the bomb on you. He feels very brave by sitting in a peaceful and nice place. Go to Syria and do some charity work, and help even if you die. I would not feel sorry for you because you would die as a martyr, right? I think sometimes some of our brothers and sisters take Islam to the extreme. This is not one of the characters of our beloved prophet SAW. He was born and lived his life among idol worshippers. They had parties, drinking, adultery, etc. I do not think if an army came and started slaughtering them our prophet SAW would not say he wasn't sorry. He would pray for them and tried to help them. Do not forget that mostly peaceful population are being slaughtered in Syria (old people, kids and women). Those who enjoyed night life and parties left the country like cowards long time ago. This brother should not generalize but be sensitive and soft spoken. I live in the US and I am a believer. I live where all these night clubs are nearby but not interested in them. Does it mean i and my family should get bombed? Because of fanatic people like this brother a lot of people have a negative opinion about islam. My advise to this brother is speak soft and have compassion. Also, deeply learn our prophet's SAW characters. It was my first and last lecture I listened for this brother. Wassalam
