You're review is really helpful on this great looking bike, just subscribed for more 👍. I'm almost 50 full licence and havent been on a bike for a good 20 years. I'm looking for something without too much power but stable enough to build up ride confidence. Not sure about this as might be too lean toward though.
@@r91motorswelcome79 it's the red one pg66 it's a bit different now tho as the person I got it off has added 2 spot lights and added some stickers on the fairing
I bought a GT125R as my first bike after CBT. I totally get what you mean about it not really being a beginner bike. I'm 190cm and even after a year of riding it, I sometimes struggle with how heavy it is. Don't get me wrong, I love the bike and it rides well, but if I could go back, I might have picked a smaller first bike. I might buy a GROM instead! :D
I hope your joking. A grom is a death trap. Cars don't see you creep up on them. But I'm glad I saw your comment. I'm only 5.6 so shorter than you 9st too so lighter than you I'm sure. But I'm stronger than most men so if I can get both feet down It should be fine. But my favourite bike atm is mt125 but I think I'de be silly to buy that spend all my budget on the bike. Then be scared of hurting it. So YBR125 is the one I'm really interested in buying £1000-1500 if I can. Swap the gaye handle bars to some low and wide ones could be perfect I just want to get on the road and start car lessons but use the bike to practice between lessons. I've done 30hrs car lessons easy but struggle with navigation sign following so a dirty bike should help no end. If you've been riding this for a year and it's not a beginner bike you are ready to move up too.
I'll state the obvious the engine is not made by yoshimura The Hyosung V-twin engine was designed in Hamamatsu Japan by a design team consisting of engineers who have previously worked in the research and development teams of Suzuki. You can put a double disk but you need to upgrade the master cylinder also. S and t is science and technology who purchased the hyosung company which was then bought by k and r and is not the make of the exhaust. 70mph the bike is capable of 75mph plus easily despite the weight which is actually 186kg wet. It's not known as the comet the comet is the name of the unfaired bike which has a different light etc
arthur suttie wow I am impressed you did good research and I like that!!! All details I give don’t think they are wrong but I will agree with you !! Yes I know have fast hyosung goes I know every single bolt on this bikes just giving information what they got on Hyosung home page!! But your comment is great and I appreciate that!!
Hi, I have GT125R on 66 plate, I don't like the handlebars, I prefer raised touring handlebars, im planning to change the handlebars on this bike. Would you give some advice. Thanks
Hi sounds like interesting project!!! Never did my self but probably best way is just to get top off the forks from hyosung Aquila type sure will fit on GT125R forks and just get bar only struggle would be cables like clutch can be shorter for different bar but may not!!
It’s very easy take all fairings of unconnect carbs one ground wire then just take chain of and tree main screws engine drops it is easy I did in 1.20h alone
I have the gt125r and it can do over 90mph and its totaly standard with a exhaust and some other cheapish part easy over 100mph bike and fantastic handling
Wow 90 that’s impressive a used to have gt125 really struggled to get over 50 mph and simply died on hills was one of the first ones in country so they must have improved
Don’t let this video out you off mate I’ve not even done my cbt, never rode a bike in my life and I’m fine with my hyo gt125 after about 20 minutes, everyone’s different, some may struggle with these as a new rider and you may do just fine with it they’re an amazing bike and the engine sounds so much better than all the 1cylinders mowers
@swagme I’m 5”6 58kg and I’ve had it for a year now and although I’m comfortable with the weight and height now, it does take some getting used to always being on your toes at lights and nearly dropping it a few times. Great bike tho I’ve got it to 85mph completely stock it’s great fun.
I reached 75mph but very dangerous as the bike is a bit meaty and breaking in a bend could be a disaster.. breaking engine could work but not when you approach a bend! So in another words don't race if you don't have experience.
@@azizulaziz9409 yes I am sure bro I’m 5,1 and have my hyosung gt250r stock and I can only flat foot one foot but I am really comfortable on it,I have also ridden stock vfr800s
@@azizulaziz9409 yes the hyosung gtr have low clip on bars to give it those supersport ergonomics which I love about them, you can always put raised bars on to your hyosung to make the seating position more up right
Yeah sorry was a bit windy and mic was to far !! Not the best for beginners only reason is is kind sport bike position is not to comfortable is heavy and need look after bike there is some parts brake down quick
Well I would agree with but hyosung 125cc is made as same base like 650 and is a bit heavier then any of 125cc and body frame is big also going in roundabouts it feel a bit heavy and not as comfortable as CBR 125 or cbf well you need to ride ktm or any 125cc bike and then with hyosung and everyone would notice trait away
