That’s a beautified version of reality, exactly what you’d expect from a marketing director with skin in the game! Yes lab diamonds and natural diamonds are almost identical, and I stress almost because you can identify the differences with relatively cheap (and not so cheap) equipment! Second point, lab diamonds are a dime a dozen because they can be theoretically manufactured infinitely, something natural good quality and size diamonds ARE NOT GUESS WHAT THIS DOES TO YOUR RESALE VALUE if you ever decide to sell your Lab grown worthless rock??? So even though they have gotten a big part of the market currently due to the price difference, this hype will come to its senses the same way it did with emeralds and rubies I’m sorry to burst the bubble but FACTS ARE FACTS

Skin in the game? We make custom jewelry. It all comes down to the price. Is a lab grown diamond worth as much as a natural diamond in comparing color, clarity, etc...? Nope, and we don't argue that. The next question, is a lab grown diamond going to be as hard, last as long, be beautiful every time you wear it? YES! The reason that diamonds are used for engagement rings is due to the hardness factor. A lab grown diamond is just as hard as a natural diamond. What are my friends going to think, if I buy a lab grown diamond? They will never know, unless you tell them. Unless expensive equipment is used, you can't tell the difference. Kind of like the origin of ice. Is it from the freezer or from an iceberg? 2 different origins, yet the same. Plus, if you are worried about what you're going to get for that diamond engagement ring in the future, maybe you shouldn't be giving it to that person. A diamond is forever, no matter it's origin.
